How embarrassing. I don't think I'll be able to watch this. Chow Yun Fat... He really didn't know better than to associate with this fail fest? Bleh...

That's what I've been hoping for. I think Nintendo should try to lock up this franchise and keep it exclusive.

Some of it looks great, such as the rusty staircases and textures like that.

Some of it looks kinda bleh, such as that charging bear which was stiff looking, and had hair that is beneath the Wii's ability.

And some of it just looks bad, such as the clothing and skin texture on characters other than the main one.

All in all though, I'm glad that the game is still in development. I hope and trust that they are working hard to polish it.

That is all.

"Shovelware being titles that are rushed in development, are of low quality and “shoveled” unceremoniously into the hands of consumers."

And here I thought that it was called Shovelware because it's the equivalent of horsesh!t, and needs to be shoveled away from the path...

One of the things I am most impressed with on Killzone 2 is the reaction when bullets hit the enemy. The movement, torn clothing, blood/body particles, etc. This hardly compares to Killzone 2 in a "realistic" sense, since that isn't the Wii's strong point, but the similar effects seen here in this video are pretty awesome. FPS's are nowhere near my favorite type of game, but I'm very excited about this one, and I'm grateful as a gamer that they are taking this risk.

I own Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. It's fun, but they went so cheap on the graphics it actually bugs me when I play. Graphics sure aren't everything, but I'm extremely glad that HVS is doing the best they can in that dept.

That movie from a couple of years ago about clones for medical purposes in the future? Near the beginning they have an "Xbox" competition, where the two main characters play a fighting game by standing on a camera filled motion sensing platform, with identical holographic copies of them fighting it out "for real" in the center of the room.

I doubt that there is anyone here who wouldn't want to play the hell out of such a game. And yet, without small steps forw...

That's so true what you said regarding comfort. I doubt that many who don't own the Wii realize how the cord between the Wii remote and Nunchuk makes for much relaxation in gaming. As for the jumping up and down stuff, the only game that I own out of over 20 that you probably want to stand for is Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games. Even so, it is in no way required.

...about getting Xbox360 owners to buy this thing, they would have just shaped it like a gun and called it a day. Nintendo has already got the lock on mini games with waggle. A host of people aren't going to flock out to buy a 360 specifically with this thing. On the other hand, even the many gamers who like aiming with their thumbs on a FPS can't help but like the idea of actual gun-like aiming and shooting in such games.

I believe in quality over quantity as well. There is no reason why quality games that are geared toward people like me can't be created to meet the demand. People are buying more games these days. Personally, I'd rather play games than watch T.V. And I don't necessarily want to have to go "grovel" at some other companies doorstep. Your attitude seems to mirror Nintendo's. The thing is, I didn't jump ship on Nintendo like some did. I owned a 64 and a Game Cube, and I bought plenty of...

The way I see it is that there are things that I would like changed that have no chance in hell of being changed unless I and others make those things known. I'm a customer who would like to spend more money on Nintendo's products. This is in no way a bad thing unless one doesn't own a Wii and fails to empathize because they are tired of hearing about it, or one does own a Wii and has become so defensive that they've begun to believe that the brown stuff on their nose is fragrant and desirabl...

...I doubt it would be released so soon since they've said hardly anything about it in the past 6 months. It hasn't even been completely confirmed that it will still be released period. People had to dig to find that recently paperwork had been filed in Australia regarding it.

I'm far from giving up on them, but since we "hardcore" are more vocal, and still have a voice, then we need to use it. That's how I feel.

I'll probably check it out since it's an opportunity to try out the balance board. But I'm not a huge skate game fan. Hopefully the actual skating motions will make it exciting as opposed to using buttons.

I hear you, but one of the main ideas was that part of Nintendo's role as an Entertainment company is to help keep their customers entertained when they don't have anything eminent so that they don't feel thrown away. Since they have so much for the casual player right now, the least they could do is give an update on a game people are excited about, or clarify some things that are unclear. That costs them nothing, yet they don't do it. The negativity it is causing is proving that the quiet p...

The thing is, the "family" really has no real reason to complain about violent games. The rating system and parental controls pretty much take care of all of that. Core gamers on the other hand aren't having their needs met, and are playing second fiddle to Carnival games and the like.

The "no games" argument from the context of the article (even though it wasn't worded that way) is that

1.Provision isn't being made for how much more popular games are now all of a sudden. People want MORE games.

and

2. The majority of Wii games aren't built with a combination of both long playing periods and replay value.

SMG and Zelda are great games, but even a year and nearly a year after beating each respective game thoroug...

I don't think you read the article.

The "voice chat" peripheral Nintendo is showing off, is just another gimpy "Not quite what we meant" situation. Not fixed.

As for the same games as always, there's no Nintendo fan problem with Mario and Zelda. As the article states, it's Nintendo's assumption that that's all complainers want that's part of the problem. People were excited about the Kid Icarus rumor that didn't pan out, not some new Mario game. T...

Thank you for continuing to bend over and take it up the pipe in regards to our attitude and policies. Feel free to stop at any time by moving elsewhere. But please do stay."
