that some say that this game is overhyped when it's not even 1/10 as hyped as Killzone 2 was. Not only that, if anyone dared say anything negative about Killzone 2 they were charbroiled. Here, we defend negative potential hype killing with facts, and people have an issue? Please...
RE:5 will probably win this year when it's done nothing more than disappoint all but the most loyal fanboys. Why? Because it's selling a crapload and has a big name. Just like that disappointment that was GTA4 last year.
1. More people have SD T.V.'s and play games on them than HD T.V.'s
2. Play The Conduit on an SD T.V. and play Killzone 2 on an SD T.V. and you won't find a huge difference in graphical quality. That's the point.
3. These developers combed through alot of ancient and modern day mythology, as well as conspiracy theories in order to create this story. Don't knock it until you've actually experienced it.
Nintendo's E3 doesn't have to be just for Hardcore it just needs to be at least balanced. Last year honestly pissed me off. But all fanboy anger such as mine aside, I think that the strategy of using E3 to market to "Casual" gamers who pretty much have nothing to do with the event failed, and Nintendo has taken notice.
Uncharted 2 would be the front runner because it will look really nice? I'm sorry, but I think that the industry has grown past overrating games just because they look good. Games have to have the whole package. I'm not saying that Uncharted 2 necessarily won't, but we do know that The Conduit is the whole package. Pleasing to the eye, with unparalleled controls and customization. You can't knock it for the Wii's graphics limitations any more than you can knock Killzone 2 or Halo 3 for analog...
because it doesn't take into account this game's biggest strength. Unparalleled controls. It's that reason why they believe it can be a contender. The game's good graphics, and uncommon effects (for Wii) are just the icing on a well made cake.
that one of their mandates was to have the best looking Wii game to date. So while it could of course be pulled off, if it was to be too ugly they passed.
in order for them to make the game look as good as it does, with all of these "Next gen" effects, they couldn't find a way to do split screen without losing too much quality in the time that they had.
It's gonna bite us all in the ass though next generation if the Casual market share is too big. And as of now that's the way it looks like it's going to be.
Because alot of PS3 and 360 gamers don't turn their console off most of the time so it runs during the day even when it's not being played.
What a silly, fun little game.
These guys are doing us Wii owners a great service. People had better support this game.
Pow-er!
Wow. Brings back memories. :)
that since with Windows we always get used to an OS, then they force a change on us basically to force people to spend money on their product again, here are some alternatives.
the article is about games of 2009, not to mention it's an April Fools joke. :p
...than can ever be compared to games.
...they'll get my buck for sure. That is assuming that:
1. This rumor is true.
2. It is indeed a remake, and not the 64 version with tacked on Wii-mote controls.
3. It has a few little new things in it along the lines of what Square Enix did with Chrono Trigger DS.
How is it that the 360 runs HD games on a DVD, but a non-RPG Wii game gave the developers space problems? No joke. The game must be PACKED with extras.
They could make so much more money if they did things like the Pokemon RPG, and had an online service worth paying for and games worth playing on it...
I'm not really one to believe in conspiracies, but I sure do find it convenient that as soon as other major businesses start touting their own used game services Gamestop suddenly is being investigated.
That being said, I don't feel sorry for those bastards. They rip people off every day.
