Is there a better video game deal in existence right now? Quite possibly not.
I'm talking about the true stance of the developer. Not what a line of flamebait for people like you to feed off of says. Alot of things have been said, but the true stance of the company is what I stated above. They reiterate the point over and over.
I've interviewed them twice myself. They agree with outsiders who've played it and temporarily mistaken it for a 360 game, and they have hyped up the graphics with a little hyperbole at times, but what you are trying to claim is B....
The ongoing claim is that this game will be comparable to PS3/360 graphics in that many of the same effects and techniques are being used. Effects and techniques that many thought were impossible on the Wii.
"The game will look as good as it can within the resolution."
Add to this the fact that the vast majority of gamers still don't own HD TV's, (even many 360 and PS3 gamers), and you can see where they are coming from. No one ever said that The Conduit w...
F that type of thinking. Governments do not own their people.
Grown men say the word Sh!t from time to time... I doubt that Soccer moms or their young kids who happen to play the Wii will be reading about what Iwata said in a meeting with his employees unless someone puts it in their face. I doubt they even know who Iwata is. As for everyone else? I doubt they give a sh!t.
They've really worked hard.
Create the Pokemon MMORPG that so many fans want, give semi-regular updates, even charge a monthly fee if you want, and a huge chunk of that audience gets what they want to the extent that they won't need new games all the time. This is a cop-out explanation. But then again, it's her job to try and put the ball in the other court, even if it is BS.
with no online? Very little replay value. Even if it is extremely awesome people won't want to play through it more than a couple of times. Most probably won't go through it more than once. I seriously doubt this game will be 40 bucks. But it should be. How do they expect people to do anything more than rent this game if they are interested? Replay value is severely lacking on the Wii.
It has that sort of feel to it.
I thought I made it clear that I wasn't interested in watching it. This stuff is silly.
she's butt nekkid or wearing a thong, I've had enough of this crap.
That's been talked about as much as GTA 4, Killzone 2, Halo 3, etc. Super Mario Galaxy won game of the year 2 years ago and even it wasn't talked about as much as the average "highly anticipated" HD console title. You can be sick of hearing about these games all you want, but you obviously aren't sick of the idea of games being overhyped unless they are Wii games.
In Ace Ventura voice: "Excuse me... Your bias is showing"
Wolverine's first appearance was on the last panel of Incredible Hulk # 180. His first full appearance, and cover appearance was on the famous #181. So the game isn't wrong.
Edit: Oops my bad. All-3 I didn't see that you'd already posted that info.
I can't get enough info and trailers of this game, and I can't wait for its release!
But it's a great idea that was bound to be used sooner or later. A kid gets a Wii for is birthday, or already has one, and gets this game to go with it to play with his friends. Then on occasion, something that brought about the happy nostalgia of that day can be somewhat relived by playing the game again.
I don't think I've ever known of a group of gamers doing a podcast that hate to do it as much as they do. They consistently come off as disgruntled, unmotivated, and use an ever increasing degree of irreverence as a fuel to get them through it.
The last two "Core" games on that list were games developed for the GC that they waited to release so that they could release them on the Wii.
Also, and more importantly, even if it were a solid 6 "Core" games it's been over 2.5 years and "Core" gamers desire more content than ever. And they desire high quality. Not stop gap games, gimmicks and ripoffs.
The reason for alot of the industry growth outside of the massive "Casual"...
They sure made it look fun. I really want to like this game, but after being burned by the first one, I need to see and hear alot more good things about it before I let my guard down.
The battery in my Gold version was still kicking no more than 3 years ago. Probably 2. Unfortunately my Silver battery had died so my old game and Pokemon were gone. I'll have to dig up Gold again and my old Gameboy and see if by some miracle it's still intact.
It's as if any time the Wii gets a game that appears to be potentially awesome, haters have to immediately try and bring it down. Pathetic.
