Good thing Mad World isn't a fighting game then huh? Good grief... How long has this guy been gaming? Beat-em-up games have ALWAYS been like this. Only this one has great graphics, a unique control-scheme, an awesome art direction, and a cool story. I smell a hater.

That's crumbs plural. Nintendo is handing out their offerings one crumb at a time, and we're paying full price for it because of our of misplaced hope.
...is because I know Nintendo will be watching closely to plan out their Pokemon MMO. Doesn't hurt that MH should be extremely fun. I'm glad you can pay for only a month at a time if you prefer, but even so, if you pay by 90 days for a year you're looking at 80 bucks. For ONE GAME! Rip off.
But I'll gladly take it. Especially if it allows for bigger WiiWare games.

when we've been literally drowning in Killzone 2 coverage for the last month and a half? This game hasn't even begun to be hyped properly.
But Nintendo might as well be "the only handheld game in town". Nintendo created that market, and they've made the right moves every step of the way so far.
I can't wait either. If the story is as good as it seems like it will be, and the unannounced online modes are significant, then along with the unprecedented gameplay and awesome graphical effort this game will be a game of the year candidate.
That guy is a screw up, but he also got screwed financially. Nintendo should throw him a bone. Many gamers would love it anyway if his old bad ass self was in this new version. Besides, boxing has fallen off big time in this new age of UFC and the like. There are no high profile bad ass boxers anymore really.
and it gives props to some excellent games. This type of attitude isn't seen often enough in the gaming community these days.
that most serious gamers own more than one console. People who own a Wii as well as an HD console tend to have a crappy attitude toward Wii games that they can't play with their girlfriend because "The graphics are terrible" and blah blah blah.
As for people who don't have that attitude, we're just glad for a game like this because it's been a year since No More Heroes came out, and there's been nothing like it since. Hell, unless you liked CoD: WaW on Wii and Warioland...
Of course the controls can't compare to a mouse and keyboard or a wii remote, but consoles have had RTS's and "been comfortable" for decades now... It's not like all of a sudden that since Halo Wars is here and FPS only gamers are going to try something else the console is discovering the Real Time Strategy. Good grief...
Yeah, I don't think even the haters truly believe that the game is selling poorly. It's just written in the hater guidebook that they have to react this way. Bubble back at ya.

Part of the reason why some great games don't sell as good as they should on Wii is because people have that sort of attitude toward them.
"Oh well, it's great, but I'll probably just rent it."
I just got Killzone 2 myself, but there's no way I'm going to miss the Conduit. Killzone 2 may have graphics that blow The Conduit out of the water, but it's the other way around with the controls. Are Killzone 2's controls good? Yes. But they are outdated as compare...
I wish there was more out there to keep this game in the limelight.
