That's about how it all went down.
The Conduit story inspiration is an amalgam of many conspiracy theories. They have a huge book on the subject that they used as a point of reference. I love that kind of stuff, and can't wait for the game.
The camera in the digital converter box thing was a hoax. The guy who did it was playing off of the fears of people who are pointing out other "conspiracy" theories that have more weight to them.
The thing I'm thinking right now, is: What is with the poor quality of the title on this story? Sheesh...
Also, of course it's o.k. to be against something. You can believe what you want to believe, and speak out against it if you like. But the moment you try to oppress someone else because of that belief in order for society to be able to pretend that the opposite viewpoint doesn't exist, or is less prevalent than it is, or for any reason really, it's wrong. Anyone too "pur...
I say they work harder on both. Pushing the system graphically combined with a beautiful art direction is king for any game on any console. Sooner or later, someone will do it all on Wii.
I'm not into the Crystal, Emerald, Platinum remakes personally. For me, they just delay whatever the next new game will be. Even so, can't blame them, they make boatloads of cash in doing this...
that we've all been quite pleased with how this game looks for months. Now that IGN accidentally discovered that it isn't in 480p after they themselves ooh'ed and aah'ed over it people should have a different attitude toward the game or its developers? It's good to receive this information (A few days ago when it was actually released that is) but for me it changes nothing.
I think what he's hinting at is that even if they only recently decided to make a PSP version, the fact that it's a dual platform release with one being a handheld suggests that they were never putting much work into how the game looks anyway for the Wii.
That being said, I hope that that isn't the case and I'll definitely follow the news on the game for a while, check it out, etc. but as of right now I'm feeling rather skeptical and slightly annoyed.
This is how he phrases his sentences to try and express his opinion, and he has the nerve to call something else stupid or childlike? Ah... The irony.
and yet so whimsical. lol
What do people want? Do you really want a FPS level that takes place in a corn field? Or corridors that spin upside down and all around like in a cartoon funhouse? I mean seriously... There are shooters that take place in natural outdoor environments like jungles, there's those that take place in buildings and city streets, and those that take place on space ships and the like. That's pretty much it. You can't really knock a game for using such a setting. You may as well wish that they never ...
"Conduit’s going to be the same story. Almost literally: Aliens land on Earth. There’s no peace offer, no Doctor Who episode taking place, just one guy going and shooting them, and they all happen to be hiding in generic cities and corridors. Snore."
Is B.S. Does this guy even actually know enough about the game to comment this much? The game takes place in Washington D.C. The "corridors" are places like the Pentagon and the Washington monument. The guys at Hi...
I saw Haze at Target the other day on clearance for $14.98 if you really wouldn't mind buying it for cheap.
I doubt you'd have trouble finding a copy if you check a few stores.
Nintendo needs to be using some of their mega profits to lock guys like Sakurai in with nice contracts. This is great news. There's a great chance that I'll be interested in whatever Project Sora is working on.
I own it for Dreamcast and PS2, as well as several X-Arcade sticks. I love that game. Haven't played it in a while though.
All this means to me is that there is yet another console's worth of games to add to the pool. This will cause a delay for games that I actually want on the VC.
If you punch a black guy and call him the N word, then yeah it's a hate crime. If you do something to his car and have something messed up to say about his ancestry, then it's a hate crime. Just punching him? No way. A hate crime is defined as a crime perpetrated against someone because of their ancestry/beliefs/etc. and those laws are set in place so that the racial beatings and lynchings of the past never occur again. If one wants to hit someone, or harm them in some way because of their r...
with Wii Fit success is that it can be a good accountability partner. It can help keep you motivated not to eat crap since you are weighing in every day. It can help keep you weighing in, because some of the little games are fun. I see it like most other fitness based equipment. If you are motivated, eat right, and use it as one of several tools in a quest to lose weight, it works. It doesn't work if you play it twice, keep eating crap, don't run or lift weights on the side, etc. and expect a...
I'm so sick of that kind of thinking. Here's an idea! How about forbidding your kids to play the types of games that you as a parent think are inappropriate? If they try to anyway, then take away their console. If you think they are playing at a friends house, ground them from that particular friends house. Don't know what games their friends have? Talk to the kid's parents! Any kid that young who is spending alot of time at someone elses house, the parents should be very involved anyway. Thi...
