As for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, it was rather average imo. The new main characters were sub par, and the time we were able to spend with the old characters that we loved was fleeting. Not to mention that the structure of the game was linear beyond reason. the stereotyping in this case is one of the few examples of gay characters in games. If you put yourself in their shoes for the sake of understanding, it's easier to understand the frustration.

this game will sell very well. Even so, I'm going to be buying multiple copies and giving them to friends who normally wouldn't buy it. When it's all said and done, this will likely be the best Wii game of 09, (tough to say with Monster Hunter 3 on the horizon) and one of the top 10 for the console over it's lifetime.

most likely, during the times that you can't, you're taking care of business. Nothing wrong with that. I think that the world needs to recognize that most gamers are responsible people, and that gaming is just another form of entertainment. Instead we get the constant barrage of "So and so did such and such horrible act/crime. Did I mention he plays video games alot?"
I don't think they'll raise prices either, but they will be hurt by the fact that they can't. Hence why they all need more of our support on the software front.

I'm betting that because the graphics are top notch for Wii, and the controls are unprecedented on a console, The Conduit will score very high across the board unless there are some unforeseen problems with it. All it will take is a metascore that rivals or is better than Killzone 2 or Halo 3 and the hate will flow. Guaranteed.
