After playing the demo on PC Titanfall is a really fun game, but definitely not a "next-gen" game. There was no point while playing that I felt truly amazed. The graphics are meh and the environments are not very detailed. Plus the environments are static. The foliage does not move and I don't see much else that's moving or changing. I know Respawn didn't want destructible environments and that's fine but literally nothing breaks. The windows on the buildings don'...

Yeah definitely aimed towards compute crowd. So much so that nvidia isn't even marketing the card at all.

Pretty fun game so far. Not something I am going to buy personally but will definitely appeal to fast-pace FPS fans. By the way, EA sent me multiple beta codes. Anyone who didn't get in here you go.
PC: 2Q5V-RK7Y-5GSG-8C28-CW62
Xbox One: 2XTRF-JMJH4-C4PPG-VGDM6-XVQKZ
PC you have to go to Origin to activate. Just click the Origin Icon in the top left corner and hit redeem product code.

I have a factory OC'd GTX 780 so I should be able to run it well at 1080p. How well is yet to be determined though. Seeing as this game uses Physx also, it might give my card a run for its money.

Youtube is the biggest culprit. When a trailer comes out for a game, try to find a file to download directly. Sure you can't watch it till it completely downloads, but it looks much better than streaming it.

I was just about to look that up too. Thanks for saving me some time.

I'd recommend getting an SSD soon. You can buy a decent 120GB SSD for under $100. You can use it for the OS and a game or two. That's what I did originally and it makes a huge difference. After that, if you need more space, you can do what I did and add an extra one and put them in Raid 0.

@Dark11
Same here. Witcher 3 is the game I am looking forward to the most this year. Dragon Age, assuming it's everything i am hoping it will be, is a close second. Might grab South Park when the holiday Steam sale comes around.

XCOM Enemy Within is 50% off also. Just purchased that right now. Was waiting for that one too.

It shouldn't be too difficult to make an optimized PC version. If this game was being developed for ps360 then I might be concerned, but Massive is only developing for three systems (Xbone, PS4, PC) which all share the same architecture.

"the dwindling pc gaming market"

Don't know where you're pulling your info from, but studies have been showing that the PC gaming market is growing more and more every year.

I agree with Hercules. I wouldn't want it open world in a traditional sense, but open environments. Each level have huge open environments that allow different paths to the objectives. Do i go guns blazing down the path in warthog? Stealthy through the brush silently killing my enemies? Maybe i take that path through the cliff and pick off enemies with a sniper rifle. They could even do side objectives, like going out of the way to help allies who will in return help you or give you somet...

Please do not tie certain abilities to specific characters. They did this in Dragon Age II with each character having their own specific talent tree. This forced players to use certain party members no matter what, even if they didn't want to. Needed a tank? Aveline is the only one spec'd properly. Same as Anders for healer. Each character should have the same talent tree in Dragon Age Origins so that way talents do not effect your character relations.

What does that have to do with their servers? That is due to EA rushing DICE to beat Call of Duty to the market.

Forza is the only one using Microsoft's dedicated servers. EA DICE use their own for Battlefield 4 because it is easier to manage since it's a multiplatform game.

So you think PC sucks because we don't have GTA5 & an updated Tomb Raider? That's pretty stupid logic. Tomb Raider DE is the same game that came out one year ago on PC just with the DLC & reworked engine. Is it going to look better than the PC version? Sure. A whole lot better? Probably not. Not to mention its locked on PC at 30fps at 1080p, while PC gamers can go beyond that with better anti-aliasing.
As for GTA5, it is a bummer that it is not of PC but that is just ...

Yeahhhh, except that nVidia has steadily released new and creative features for many years now. They aren't doing this because they don't have a chip inside the new consoles. They are doing this because they know screen tearing is a major problem and they came up with a solution which makes their cards more appealing than the competition.

You would get poor framerates though with a current single gpu running at 4k. The 780ti/R9-290x average around 30fps with most games maxed out at 4k. While this certainly is playable, I imagine most PC gamers would prefer playing at 1080p or 1440p while maintaining at least 60fps. Definitely looking forward to what Maxwell will be able to accomplish though!

That's a beast of a case. If I ever had a need for an ultra large case the 900D would be my first choice. Ive been rocking the 650D though for two years now and couldn't be happier.

Couldn't agree with you more. If an arcade had this I would be definitely check it out.
