IMO, I could care less about the story. I just want to waste some Helghast in this beauty.
Don't get me wrong, the story is not irrelevant. Just that I personally like the game play/graphics and look forward to being able to play more then 5min or so before restarting the demo.
Exactly! Most games take a few minutes to get used to the controls. I don't see how the button layout could even be an issue. Well at least to an extent, Killzone isn't some crazy x shoots and r1 jumps or anything like that.
I had some trouble adjusting. Gave it about 15-20 minutes, now It's becoming second nature.
Doesn't every game have some learning curve as far as controls? Take the command and conquer games, some have the mouse buttons/hotkeys on the keyboard do different things. Play it for a few minutes and you get the hang of it.
Edit: I mean I love generals zh. Got RA3 and was lost for a while but got used to it. BTW RA3=crap IMO. And not because of the controls.
I'm with you, I love the controls. Only problem I had was I kept hitting L1 to bring up the sights, no problem with the game just me. A few more rounds with the demo and I'll get accustomed to that.
My parents are in their 50's and never gamed in their lives. Yet they bought a Wii and say they love it.

No they are freelancers who work out of their parents basement and fail to realize that Sony is way bigger then just playstation. Forget car audio, TV's, MP3's ect ect. Playstation isn't doing all that great so Sony is gonna die, lol.
Call it a Trojan if you want but it got blu-ray as the next format of choice. That will be way more profitable then selling games.
A+ props to you. Great you don't expose your kids to graphic stuff. World would be a better place if all parents were like you. I'd be the same. No COD, R1 or R2 and I guess like you said definitely not this around any kid of mine under 13 or 14.
IMO, that's good. Bout time we got games that aren't meant to be G rated. I get it sucks you can't play games like that around your kids but their are what 10 you can to every 1 you can't.
This game will finally justify the money for a HDTV, surround sound and a PS3. Thanks GG

Great, did they fix the bug that doesn't allow RAM to run at 1066?
I know it's no big difference, but I bought some overclocked RAM that came with a fan and all. Turned out the Phenom freaks out if you try and overclock the RAM. Stupid me, shoulda done some homework.

Ok since the ban is coming anyway. The only 'Install' was from a multi-console game? Uncharted set the bar for graphics and audio(7.1, on a game???) Ya those untalented fools look bad, while 1st party's and Infinity Ward seem to be able to do it. And god forbid an install? to make the game run better? What blasphemy is that?

I was with you till you said Heavenly Sword sucked. Maybe it was short, yes. But you are a fool if you don't think it was a great 8 hours. Also I'd bet they put all the audio for all regions on one print. MGS has to have 2 different presses cause of the audio. Again, how the hell can you say that game sucked? I can see the to short argument. But sucked? Must be a fanboy, only way.
What is kinda funny though is I'm running a good sound system on a 1080i tv. I'm waiting for those OLED's to come and drop in price before I buy another one.
Man HS rocks. It is on the short side if you don't go for all the glyphs. Can't wait for HS2..It's supposed to be coming.
