They aren't helping themselves with these firesales. Onkyo had a HD-DVD player ready for the market but after the $99 A2 firesale, Onkyo canceled all their plans for HD-DVD. Toshiba undercut the market on them, who is going to spend $500 on their player when they can get one for $99 during one of these firesales.
Cool man I'll check it out. I meant by all the others crap like divxlive, ya you can watch stuff but they are at least up front, you must install spyware to watch this stuff. I can imagine it though, a divxlive type site without all the bs would be the greatest thing ever.
LOL we have the ghost disagree.. Feel free to make a counter point. Oh I forgot, you are a scared f@g. Run to mommy, I'm sure TheMart will breast feed you and calm you down.
OK not flaming, straight? But you think the 360 is even 1/50th of the open as the PS3? So your logic fails cause they are by FAR the most open with the platform.
Thanks for the reply. So I could get stuff from the stage6, without that bs you have to install this to have access jazz? Cause cough, torrents, cough, if you know how to spot a fake it works for me. BTW no movies for me, Blu or nothing for me anymore, why waste a viewing on some sh!t quality.
A: The only thing from holding back the Blu release of the Matrix trilogy for one. Along with the other DUD fav's V for Vendetta, Batman begins and so one.
AA: So v1.1 is why Warner no longer feels the need to release DUDS, cause the interactive features that was the advantage are no longer there.
OK I never heard of or tried stage6
What is so great about it? Is it another one of those, "get divix movies for free, all you have to do is install spyware to get it?" things?
If I can't hack what they have what is the point???
PS: If you couldn't smell the sarcasm, sniff..
Ya amazon does count on there, wally doesn't.
I feel em. I loved PC gaming, FPS the most. Sh1t costs way to much now. I'd have to spend 1k at least to make a good rig, no thanks. They need to realize that, do not push it so far. When 95% of comps can't run the game, you only have 5% available to buy your game. And if you're lucky 1% will buy it, forget PC's at least for me.
You can't go by amazon rankings. During black friday week hd-dvd had a ton of titles up on the list, worrying some of the blu diehards at bluray.com. We all know what happened when the NPD came out Blu won 70 something to 20 something.
Or how about Call of Duty: American Revolution. We can line up and exchange volly's for hours upon end...what fun that would be
Totally agree. I have 17 Blu-Rays and if I added it all up I'm sure it would come out to paying about $15 per movie.
Go to Blu-ray.com. Lots of the guys over there bought PS3's as movie players. It's upgradeable and as cheap as any other player. I think standalone is diluted from the PS3, they need to add those in. On a side note Onkyo had a HD-DVD player already designed and ready to produce, then the A-2 went to $98 and they said "why even bother making a 400 dollar player now." Onkyo has now canceled all plans for making HD-DVD players. LOL they priced out all manufactures from even wanting to ...
You want to know how all the Plant Earths sold this week? It's all the back-orders were filled. They finally got around to making some HD-DVD's. Slow week on both sides, lol.
Sorry bud, Drakes put everything else to shame. But I didn't click here to argue with that tool. It's true, I used to PC game quite a bit, but it is way to expensive to keep up. Last Card I bought was a 256mb ATI AGP card, for the cost of a card these days I can get a consele and a few games. Of course I'd get a PS3 so I'm not dealing with broken stuff all the time.(I don't mean that, it's just to jab back at the tool above me)
You're entitled to your opinion of the game and it's characters. I have to disagree about the touchsense though, it was perfect in that game. If you meant the arieal combos, it was just hitting L1+triangle and moving the controller up all in one fluid motion.
This needs to happen. Short or not, HS was one helluva experience.
ya WTH? I don't see a HS theme. I hope they do make one.
You ask and you shall receive...
