My first DVD player wasn't THX certified. So DVD must be crap, by that logic at least.
Think about it, they make dual-format and they can sell to new blu's and still not abandon HD-DVD. This way they aren't saying "ya fuk HD-DVD, we lost, blu-ray is the way to go." It's now "we still believe in HD-DVD but it is time to give the consumer a choice."
Don't give them flak on this, it is the best way out.
Edit: I got a disagree, care to share why that is? Oh wait, I know it's cause my nose ain't brown from Bill. j/k don't send out th...
Good analogy, I like the fact he prefers blu but dikwad is not needed. Especially from someone in his position.
Hey you know one thing is WB owns HBO and Speilberg is a BD supporter. So bring on Band of Brothers Blu-Ray exclusive. God I hope we see that very, very soon. Imagine that in 1080p with 7.1 uncompressed audio, movie fanboy's wet dream come true, lol.
They are gonna do like the WWII ones. Fight till the last man, blow themselves apart with a nade and take as many with them as possible. So out of the what 50,000 Toshiba workers 5 or 6 will live to tell the tale?
I'll agree, she is a hot "average" woman. Nothing to brag about though.
Yo Madden, I usually agree with you but he is right on one thing. Laser TV's, we have yet to see what comes out of those. Obviously they won't be that thin but could up the whole XXXXp to something we'd laugh at as "ya right," today.

I'm in no way saying laser TV will ever even become a reality, but it is out there.
You are joking right? Oh wait you're a Cub fan, you expect the worst and get it all the time.
J/K don't get all rilled up.
FOiS(SP?) is a must before digital distribution catches on. Right now the so called "HD" on demand movies are running at about 768kb/s. Now imagine what it would take to get them running at 15mb/s (like a blu-ray). Digital distribution IS many many years away from even being comparable to physical media.
If Toshiba makes a Blu-Ray player, I will buy it. Just so every time I watch a Blu, I'll be reminded of this silly war. LOL
They would. At the end of the day it comes down to money and everyone getting behind the BDA would be good for the bottom line of all involved.

This just might be the white flag waving from the HD-DVD side.
They held on longer then expected. Heres to you HD-DVD

I am legend
Only one I can think of off the top of my head
MGS is going to the 360
On a side note Halo 1,2 and 3 are coming to the PS3. (j/k) on one blu-ray
Blu-Ray won.. The only thing that could happen now is Warner getting a huge payoff from M$ and going HD-DuD exclusive. If that happens Blu and DuD will have about a 50/50 split on movies and High-Def will become nothing more then a niche market. Warner knows this, anyone with a brain and no fanboy blinders knows that the money is in blu-ray as far as sales go. 51 weeks in a row now. Hella are just waiting for this to be over so they don't waste money, WB aren't idiots. WB is going blu only so...
How can a FPS be a RPG? That would make it a FPS that you can upgrade guns on, wow sounds like every other game...Gay IMO.
ITR, ya look at my post "ready for market," meaning they had started making them already. That Onkyo you tout and by you're admission for $799? A few were produced and are on the market, look up if Onkyo is still making them, you'll find that they aren't produced any longer. If it makes you feel better they aren't making Blu or HDdvds right now.
Nice..That is priceless right there.
Do it Sony. I don't have a PSP, but if they made a PSP phone I would get one ASAP.
