Yup, Killzone 2&3 are still console FPS visual champs, definitively. Too many issues in BF. The beta prepared me for disappointment.
Was looking forward to this but the Limbo-lite demo was horrible. LBP2 has better 2D WaroftheWorlds UGC than this.
MGS4 ending was perfect. Maybe a bit long in the tooth, but it hit all the right charachter notes. Wrapped up 20 years with a nice bow. Plot resolution, charachter catharsis and life after combat. Your expectations are wacked Kahv'. ME2 needed a DLC for the true ending/segue to ME3. It should've stood better on its own, especially since we already know from official squad gameplay trailers that Cerberus hates you in ME3 regardless of your choices to end ME2.
Panasonic 3DO b%#@s! *self high five* You get what you pay for, AMIRITE?
@Silly gameAR
You're not allowed to like playing games anymore, didn't you get the memo? You're supposed to complain a lot, talk about pre-orders, week 1 NA sales, metacritic and be generally sarcastic & unpleasant. That's gaming in 2011.
;)
Sure there has. There's been tons of detail on the Cybertron wars pre-earth, in the comics.
Dreamwave had a few War Within series and IDW has had numerous pre-earth series like Megatron Origins, Stormbringer and various Spotlights like Shockwave as well as the movie universe pre-earth.
The comics are usually better than the TV series
Holy Gawd Jimmy. Nobody on here ever really gave a damn in the first place. Way to blow a couple forum posts out of proportion. I don't even recall the Eurogamer review getting stickied on here, lol!
It's only bored journalists that keep sensationalising select forum posts as gospel and telling people they're being psychotic fanboys when they're the psychotic ones that keep perpetuating this, that keep it going, that read too much into nothing and feel the ne...
Only 1 trophy for Peace Walker and it's a handicap one too, what madness is this?
How long before Best Buy starts an offer like their $20 firmware install "deal" where they get Geek Squad to install it for you, lol?
He had like nothing bad to say about it. Nothing! Wtf Eurogamer? 6/10 implies barely passable, yet you only say positive things. Jaffe just stuck up for you guys, then you turn around and do exactly what he hates, lol.
Their 7/10 stamp is primed and ready ;)
Pretty much equal with some pick your poison. Summary:
Both have no AA so jaggies are there -no MSAA or SSAO- but PS3 has less edge shimmering and streams textures slightly better bar the odd bug. Both consoles have the pop-in regardless.
PS3 has more frame drops and tears however in stressful situations under the microscope but they say it's not really noticeable and is negligible to gameplay. 360 is pretty much optimised for anything running Unreal Eng...
It also comes with $35 of DLC including the new Move Cakeling storyline and Move create tools. That was actually a good DLC, for once Move felt 2nd nature.
In the replies they say the Special Edition LBP2 has an MSRP of $59.99, and the LBP2 Move bundle is $129.99.
Yeah the videos gone. Nothing to see here
So very tired of reading how linearity is a hamper. Open world games can just as easily hamper pacing and action, as is the case in Batman Arkham City. More to explore but also more to get bored with. Still can't trigger the next Deadshot mission and I've beaten the game. It's boring gliding over the Steel Mill for the 100th time hoping to trigger some story.
Open worlds = more backtracking over samey environments, while linear chapter based games can take you gl...
Funny how the gaffers don't see the irony in what they're doing to Miller's review.
Well, it would be funny if it wasn't so sexually charged nerd sad.
lol, the Cold War returns, USA vs USSR -USSR just sounds cooler-
Drago vs Greenberg?
XBL was great in 2007, untouched, but it's absolutely nothing to go apeS*&% over in 2011. GameRoom makes Home look like rocket science.
For many, XBL was their first time online, and you always remember your first. But you also tend to take off the rose tinted glasses as you branch out. Not so with gamers. I'll take putting messages in friend requests stating who the hell I am and permanent date/time stamps on cheevos over crossgamechat anyday, twice on friday.
It should be okay to critique the critics. Many do tend to throw stones in glass houses and review by the "do as I say but not as I do". Heck, many critics don't even finish the games they're reviewing, and other developers -Jaffe's not an island- have rightfully frowned on the practice
