If it's $20 with 1000G it's probably gonna be filed under Games On Demand on XBL and few Games On Demand games have demos either. So just being on Live guarantees nothing. There's no RE4 demo.
Sony doesn't have the licenses to release every game in every region. Lack of research b4 bitching = fail. That's why Silent Hill is no longer available in Europe but it is still available in NA. Lost a music license in the EU territory. Here's an article worth reading on the subject.

You have no idea what you're angry about. A PS2 will look worse hooked up to an HDTV than a PS3. On a PS3, PS2/PS1 games can at least get smoothing and a full screen option to look better, plus all PS1 games are PSP compatible. I just got 3 free Resident Evil PS1 games as-is, how is that greedy and lazy?

So did the 360 version. Weapons not firing, pop-in, getting stuck in mid air and some weird artifacts in the water in MP were all bugs I saw while playing on the 360, not to mention other issues both consoles have had like the Dedication achievement not popping for some and the odd funky AI.
Still...I love tropical environments and Dead Island bored the hell out of me so I'm looking for some redemption. It's probably the most quoted PC game on these boards so I wanna...
This! all the people shouting about how great used is, but it's pretty much a $5 difference no matter how old the game is. That's preposterous and it never used to be this bad.
Splinter Cell Conviction is $19.99 new but $14.99 used. This while they offered me $1 trade for Sports Champions! One freaking dollar. I've even see them charge MORE for some used games than what you can find brand new on sale at Walmart or Bestbuy on any given day.

Wow, who's company line are you secretly towing? Games like Mortal Kombat, BFBC2, Dead Space 2, Fear 3 etc all have online passes of different sorts. Frick, on BFBC2 I bought it NEW and STILL COULDN'T access all the maps on my 2nd account on another PS3. Same applies to the 360 version.

I think it's partly because Sony & Nintendo are Japanese and have both been around the block. The natural and earned respect is there. Jabs are more easily brushed off. You can see it even with the fanbase. The amount of Nintendo love seen in all the UGC made in the two LittleBigPlanet games is astounding. Mario, Metroid, DonkeyKong, there's even a ZELDA level STICKIED by MediaMolecule.

Er, no. Crysis 2 had horrible MP, buggy SP, and was sheer meh. Prophet blowing his brains out to start the game sums it up. Superhuman while invisible is a joke. To be disappointed in R3 & KZ3 yet praise that steaming pile is lulz. Even Crysis 1 the PSN/XBLA download is better than Crysis 2. Still buggy, but better.
And Portal is a puzzle game, not an FPS. Why's it on the list?
