Batman is not that large. Don't kid yourself. You can fly from one side of AC to the other in a minute. It doesn't have multiplayer either. Uncharted 3 does and your guy completely failed to even talk about all the MP refinements and co-op which can extend the replayability way past Batman. Why only review half a game?

BC has nothing to do with it. BC upscaling doesn't remaster into native 720p, improve the framerate, overscan the original 4X3 image into a native 16X9 with added scenery, add 3D, achievements, bundle multiple games on one disc, include lil' bonus commentary/mini games/new trailers, or remaster games from -handhelds- into console form with tweaked controls. Couple possibilities I guess.
One: Keep it T for teen. Marvel VS Capcom & MortalKombat VS DC had lotsa hardcore charachters sans gib showers. The StreetFighter blueprint.
Two: Make it M for Mature. Family friendly charachters like Sly, Ratchet, Sackboy risk losing stuffing and dismemberment for the 1st time ever. Maybe a graphic content toggle like in the COD games?

Simple solutions: Don't buy at Gamestop/EB. Don't buy anything that isn't factory sealed. Ask counter guy for the new copy if that's what you want, bring it back for a refund if it isn't.
