Question ... if you were/are planning on playing The Order (metacritic, of course, being the compete and final word of god as to whether a game is worth playing or not) why would you go on YouTube and watch the ending before metacritic tells you whether it's worth playing?

I suspect it may have something to do with, since joining 2 days ago, over 50% of your comments being in The Order threads and pretty much every one of them being negative.
In fact your very first comment was complaining about it, as were 6 of your first 10 comments (remember, this is in just 2 days)
Meanwhile any comment in a XB1 thread (what few there have been considering your focus on The Order threads) have been nothing but glowing.
Sometimes if it looks ...
I never said posting AGAINST the PS4. I said derogatory comments. Like this one:

Or your final sentence in the first post I linked to.
As in comments that are clearly created to inflame tensions with only one side of the "fanboy wars"
And I never said you didn...
I'd probably have traded it in anyway.
Got the standard edition so if I do love the game it'll change it for a special or collectors edition. If I don't I'll use it to fund another game.
So I win either way
Don't worry, even if it DOES lead to more similar games you'll still have genero-shooter #1189, fetch-quest open world #8563, annualised release #5529 and tacked on multiplayer #4765 to keep you entertained.
You won't be forced to play cinematic story driven games if you don't want to so rest easy.
Lets be honest though, the same is true about people complaining that Driveclub is broken.
Making exaggerated ignorant outdated claims to attack the "opposition" or defend "your console" isn't exclusive to a specific set of fanboys.
Hell, go into any The Order thread right now to see both sides in action.
Although talking about "broke ass fanboys", you don't own both consoles either:

Won't list exactly which platinums I have, but Ive got 36 of them.
Resistance 2 10k kills was a bugger
As was Killzone2
But i don't have any "gifted" platinums (megamind, terminator salvation etc)
Pity I don't really platinum games any more. Because I refuse to pay to play online and most games have some kind of tacked on multiplayer, that's put an end to that unless they're offline trophies only.
Pretty much the s...
This week. Embargo is tomorrow isn't it?
While its your perogative, unfortunately articles like this will do nothing.
You see there are 3 "generalised" types of people here
- This who would get this game regardless, and defend it from any criticism (usually people who ony have 1 console, being the console the game is on)
- People who would never get this game and will try crucify it for any reason, no matter how insignificant (usually people who only have 1 console, being the console this game is no...
What I'd like to know is how many of these people who consider anything below an 8 as not worth playing consistently (if ever) got above 80% in their exams.
Would be interesting if employers took the same view about them as they take about game reviews. "I see you got 75% in your finals? Sorry, you're not worth my time. Next candidate please".
I think that attitude says a lot about the people posting it.
EDIT
Oh and no...
Thing is, value for money is all down to personal criteria. Who's to say what's not value for money to one person is not value for money for anyone.
Take the consoles themselves for example. I don't really game online and most of the big exclusives on the XB1 are online focussed thus, to me, the console doesn't offer value for money towards my tastes. The only game I'm currently interested in is Ryse, then QB when that comes out.
However for those who are m...
@Neonridr - So I take it you've played The Order "normally" yourself and explored everything thus can definitively confirm its "4-5 hours of gameplay including cutscenes and stuff"?
Just making sure that you can state, first hand, that you've experienced everything that game has to offer, yourself personally, as opposed to going by second hand information?
@ DEATH - Was your response aimed at me?
If so I think you'll find I only ever used the term I and me when referring to the game content.
So, if your response is to me, I'd be interested to see how you came to the conclusion that I was talking about "most". When discussing my own preferences I only ever used the singular, not the plural.
Are you reading things that aren't there? I struggle to find, in my post, where I even inferr...
Ah, one of those people who believe games with metacritic scores in the 70's are neither fun nor memorable. I think that pretty much says everything about you that needs to be said ...
I don't play online at all (refused to pay for live, refuse to do the same with PSN). So, to me, a good single player story is far more important than multiplayer with a tacked on solo campaign.
So yes, I'd gladly pay full retail price for a SP only game, even if it is short, if it's an enjoyable experience with my limited play time.
I blasted through MGS4 in less than 3 hours on the hardest difficulty. I finished all Gears games (apart from judgement) solo on the ...
Wait, I take it you wrote Uncharted by mistake?
The first game had no multiplayer and can be beat in less than an hour (47 mins is the current best)
I'll assume Resi4 was a type-o as well, no multiplayer and can be beat in less than 2 hours (1 hour 40)
So I'm a bit confused, were those 2 games sad or not?
The Order 1986. Make it happen!
I have played the game.
From my personal experience, playing on a TV much smaller than the one at home (32 inches were the demo size I believe), I never noticed the bars when watching or playing.
However that's my personal experience. Some people get fixated on certain things. Personally, for the near 2 hours I was either waiting in line watching or playing, I never noticed the black bars. In fact I forgot about them, were it not for articles like these I wouldn't even...
Oh no!!!!!
The game is only 2 hours long and you've made it shorter with a collectables guide!!!
Pre-order cancelled :'(
