@Brighthand I have to agree with you on many points. Have you seen the comments by the RVGS team where they are stating Kevin was let go because he was developing a system to compete with the RVGS? Some Orwellian history editing going on here.
This is the type of action that is casting that shadow of doubt on this whole thing.
I agree with most of your points there. Most of my problems with this idea would be gone if they would just tell people what hardware is running under the hood- CPU, RAM, VRAM, etc. We see none of that. Back in the day gamers knew what was running under the hood of the SNES years before it was ever released in Japan, same thing for newer consoles like the Saturn, Dreamcast, etc. You have to pick something definite and run with it, otherwise not only do fans have no idea what you are makin...

I didn't either. lol Maybe for April Fool's next year we can release a "guide" to playing Colecovision games on a TI99/4a computer. It would be about a paragraph long, or just a couple of sentences- dump game to tape, load on TI99/4a. lol

Thanks your comment. The news article is just that, a news article. It is not a strategy guide that goes in depth on every little new addition, it is an article alerting fans that there are new updates to the classic game.

RJ, there are Youtube tutorials and even some of those gadget repair places will do it for you (for a fee of course). It is not all that hard and is a rewarding experience when you do it yourself.
It definitely is unique but in a familiar way.
The old saying that there is always someone bigger and badder comes to mind. Brock had great fanfare and promotion when he was in UFC but that all went out the window when he started fighting people that could take him on and return the assault.
Not trying to take anything away from her accomplishments so far, just saying, it is only time till she is taken down a notch or two. Right now, it is in the interest of the promoters to keep her on top and winning fights.
She suffers from the Brock Lesnar effect- she hasn't faced anyone that can take her toe to toe for very long, once she does, it is stamina at stake and then we will see how well she does. I don't think she will do all that well with someone that can take, and dish, it out.

Project Eternity didn't break $4 million on Kickstarter though. Sure, it earned more, at than Shenmue III right now but there are still a few weeks left for Yu Suzuki to close that gap and pass it.
We may indeed see a tapering off of support for Shenmue III but it will be hard to tell till after it has already happened.
Yea, I have to agree. This is definitely a promising console and is worth following closely. I just hope it doesn't become another vaporware platform.
