I think Mel is a bit annoying, but I don't think we get to know her all that much... Aside from Owen, most of Abby's friends weren't really all that developed, and that's fine, the game wasn't about them.
Most people hate the game because of an unhealthy attachment to a fictional character.
The game is made to show how hypocritical and eager to justify shitty people we truly are just because it's convenient to us. And the hate for a particular character and the countless justifications to defend the actions of another, makes it all so clear.
There are no good guys in this game.
You completely missed the point, huh?
I'd have to agree. There is absolutely no logic behind why these RE4 Remake rumors gained any traction.
Look, I get it, we can get attached to fictional characters. But you should just let it go. It's not healthy.

You could. But you'd be wrong.
What? The hotel, the cult island and the hospital are the best segments in the game.
@Magatsushi I'd like to know how people came to the conclusion that Abby is a psycopath compared to Ellie and Joel.
I have a theory that some parts of the game were made to drag intentionally. Specially the ending. Revenge is one of the main themes of the game, and it is emotionally and physically draining.
They should've pounded more. Lesbians are hot.
You should watch "Misery"

His playthrough was kind of a joke. A bit surprising since he really got into the first.
He was more focused on the live chat for all of the playthrough, he was prone to jumping into chat's toxicity on every little thing, after a certain event happens in the game he basically threw the game under the bus and never gave it a real chance (talked over the characters, left during cutscenes when you can simply pause them)...
You can clearly see this is a c...
