Yep. Uninspired villains, aliens and quests killed this game. The characters were decent, not nearly as iconic as any of the original crew, but had plenty of room to grow. But going to an entire new galaxy and seeing humanoid aliens with tech that resembled our own (heck, the Hanar and Elcor in our own galaxy were more creative) as well as fetch quests to make bar drinks and other trivial stuff made this game extremely bland. I couldn't even finish it. No sense of awe whatsoever.
Not the same. Generally games fail or succeed on their own terms, censoring content or not aside, and the developer can choose if they want to humor those cries or not. In this one case the game is being held back from releasing altogether, even after removing “offensive” content.
Looks fun! I hope there’s some offline stuff (or even a couch coop)
Reminds me of FFVII Remake. I'm ok with it.
If it’s a worthwile entry, they can do whatever. I rather a good sequel than a mediocre new title.
New mobile game?
I actually like all three Mass Effects. They compliment each other nicely. I also like the ending, although when it first came out (without the patches) it was pretty poor and confusing. And one extra ending, even if not canon, of humanity actually being able to fight back based on your Galaxy Readiness being 100% would've been awesome, but I digress.
As for Dragon Age, only the first is good. 2 is terrible and 3 is boring (albeit better).
Agreed. After my third mission fetching ingredients for some random drink while I'm the freaking Pathfinder and amidst a war... It really broke immersion. There is no sense of urgency or pace to this game. Not bad, not great... It's just... boring. And that is the worst offense a videogame can have for me. Give me a terrible game (like Deadly Premonition or Rule of Rose), but if it is remotely interesting, I'll power through the *****y gameplay/story, but boring? No can do.
Another half-assed on-line game/mode for a quick buck. Capcom, when will you catch up that Outbreak is what fans want?
Don’t play it
8-10 hours for a SP is OK. Resident Evil 2, one of my favorites, can be beat in less than 3.
FF7R is a great JRPG
After the patch, I actually like ME3's ending. Nothing mindblowing, but it's decent. I just don't like the green beam ending. (can't remember the actual name lmao)
MoM is okay. Lots of hiccups, performance-wise. Story was decent, but extremely rushed, leaving the characters a bit on the surface level.
Too bad RE3 was mediocre. :( Still looking forward to RE8.
Judging how many people were crying about her breasts being nerfed before launch, I'd say it's pretty news worthy. /s
“Fixed various bugs”. There.
MGS has some of the gayest stuff I’ve ever seen in a VG. Kojima was all about inclusion before it was cool.
She is literally responsible for the biggest garbage in the series that is (ignoring that horrible epilogue in itself that is also garbage): Cursed Child. lmao. I mean, I love the original books and all, but man, we gotta stop pretending that she did anything remotely good ever since Harry Potter ended. It's like saying Crystal Skull, Covenant and Phantom Menace were good because they were made by the original creators. No, they suck balls.
Elena is one of the better female characters in gaming: she is flawed, not above admitting she was wrong, has her own personality and quirks and always try to make the best of a bad situation... People tend to overlook her a bit. I adore her!
Regarding the article: the game does not "elusively empower Elena", she is her own force and she porbably has her own story where she could be the protagonist, as an intrepid journalist. But that is not the game, the game is ...
