You forgot ps eye was also a bust. So 3dtv bust. Move bust. Vita bust. Compititors kinect and wiiu tablet bust.
All of these had the identical articles written about them and had the identical comments written by gamers yet to go through the other busts.

That's what I did, bought on steam sale for like 20 when consoles where still 50. Played an hour was like in shock at 4k. But moved on to other things.
Came back this summer and beat it and is equal to uncharted for me if not better.
I'll get this on pc in a couple years for 20 and all the dlc. Plus may have replaced my titan by then.

I'll get it in a couple of years for 2.50. After I beat grid 2 and about 5 other racers I have.
Bought Grid 1 on pc for 2.50 last week, playing that at 4k60fps will make you feel nuts for ever spending 100's on racing games.
It's a money scheme, they sell the same new game regardless, if they have a cheap console or an expensive powerful console.
They saved money selling underpowered consoles, but was enough for most people. It could change if enough people cared and went to pc but until that happens this is what you can expect.
Which is the point of their business, to make money.
It's actually very easy to tell the difference switching back and forth on pc after playing for a couple minutes.
It's harder to tell when there is no comparison such as a most people don't have two systems and 2 copies to compare. But if you do, some can tell.
Also some people don't care which is fine. However if you're interested to follow this site, register and comment, chances are you prefer to have the best quality for equal charge ...

MSony's consoles prove gamers will buy consoles DESPITE the existence of the mobile market. The wiiu just does not have the features gamers want. Namely killer games and console leading gfxs.
