You're right, apologies. It was just meant to be comment, not a reply to you. It should be comment #3 under Septic.
Sorry.
I agree with you, BTW.
"I truly see a sort of hybrid console/mobile device. So you go home, plug the thing in to your TV as standard, sick visuals etc, but can go mobile if you want."
Very far in the future, they can't even get intricate games to control properly as of now.
Also a dedicated console will always have more potential to impress, like handheld technology to console technology. Which is part of all this too, to some at least. That is a factor often overlook...
Just curious, why would you think that?
The PS4 is at 23M+ after roughly 18 months, outpacing the PS2.The Xbox One had a great launch and is currently outselling the 360. The Wii U was a disaster although the Wii was a huge success for them.
Just because there is money to be made in mobile, doesn't change the fact console gaming is very healthy right now.
The PS4 alone is a massive success, it's 11M-12M up on the closest competitor. I...
"It was never intended for core gaming."
From the description of the Project Natal announcement video.
"Uploaded on Jun 1, 2009 · Introducing Project Natal, a revolutionary new way to play: no controller required. See a ball? Kick it, hit it, trap it or catch it. If you know how to move your hands, shake your hips or speak you and your friends can jump into the fun -- the only experience needed is life experience. Join the conversation ab...
“If you’re playing Halo or Call Of Duty, there’s not really a scenario that says, ‘Hey, I need a Kinect."
That's what it says, which is light years away from this Project Natal announcement video from 2009.
https://m.youtube.com/watch...
But I agree, Kinect for games is pretty much useless.
I keep hearing saying it's fake, but I have yet to see the image that is similar.
Can someone post it? I can't find it anywhere.
It's fake.
:(
I still believe though.
:)
Good question.
Hmmmmm. What could these titles be? I wonder.
One is definitely Red Dead. What else could they have going?
"Sony is sounding a triumphant note today, announcing that worldwide PlayStation 4 sales have exceeded 20.2 million as of March 1st."
http://www.theverge.com/201...
"Sony Corp. revealed that it sold 22.3 Million PS4 consoles by the end of March 2015, while selling an additional 2.1 million consoles during the month."
"Flippin eck, just give it a rest... Why do you lot care so much? Just enjoy the healthy state of console gaming. Constantly one upmanship over sales is so tired."
Is this a sales don't matter rant? I wonder how long people will run with that, with it constantly being in their face that they do.
If you're bitter about the numbers, maybe you should avoid these types of articles altogether.
Just a suggestion.
That puts the Xbox One at under 12M, since we know the PS4 is 22M+.
It is definitely Underground 3.

And this.

Capcom at this same disclosure, mentioned Deep Down is having development problems, but is still coming along. I wouldn't expect to see it at E3.
"We're still facing a ton of challenges (laughs). For starters, there's the whole process of developing games for the newest next-generation consoles. Every solution we came up with seemed to create more problems than it solved, so it has really been one step forward, two steps back the whole way. On top of all that...
Remasters are fine. They only take a few people and keep dry spells to a minimum.
They just need to remaster the right games and give them the proper attention and care.
I'm more interested in their development process now, moving multiple teams to bigger projects to get them done more efficiently. Remasters only take a few people, so they can get more projects done on a better cycle.
I did say messing around.
"MS will show more jrpg games than ever before."
Don't get your hopes on that one. I'm not being rude. If you want JRPG's, buy a PS4.
It's not graphics exactly, it's the fact the PS4 has the best performing games across the board. The 360 had a lot of success for the same reasons, just not to the extent of the PS4.
People go on and on about having a few highly rated exclusives as some game changer. It's not, or the Xbox would have sold more in 2014. The games they did have exclusively didn't even sell well. People look for the best platform with variety at a good price, not one or two highl...
Yeah, that was fantastic.
