The nightly hunt continues.

They should lock the resolution and frame rate on Xbox One.
It's so obvious the dynamic resolution is causing the stutter. It has to be why it's unlocked frame rate, when the PS4 is not.
It's has too many fluctuations at the same time.
What is this garbage?
No analysis has said the frame rate was smooth, aside from Gamingbolt.
Digital Foundry, NX Gamer and Gamersyde all said pretty much the same thing.
The PS4 has dips, the Xbox One stutters. Therefore the PS4 is smoother.
"When it comes to performance, and factoring in the game's superior 1920x1080 output, Sony's hardware is a preference -but it's not the clear choice we had expected."
The PS4 has a higher resolution, less stutter and 8x AF, while Xbox One has 4x AF and a higher max frame rate because it's unlocked, but less smooth because of it.
Yeah, I doubt they'll have much to show.....

I completely think they should cap the resolution and frame rate on Xbox One.
Games that run at different resolutions are not twins, no matter how bad you want them to be.
It's 40% more pixels from 900p to 1080p. That's a fact, regardless of your opinion.
No offense, but I don't think you know what your talking about when it comes to these things.
Gamersyde says the Xbox version stutters, Digital Foundry says it stutters and NXgamer says it stutters.
Gamingbolt says it's silky smooth.
They all have frame capturing tech, do you?
The PS4 version seems to be capped at 30. Since, the Xbox One goes over and is not capped, it would seem the reason it's not capped at 30 is because of the attempt for "dynamic resolution".
It just makes sense.
Double post.
Why do people keep saying this?
" UPDATE 19/5/15 14:03: We've now had the opportunity to test the 1.01 patch on PlayStation 4, and can report that the FMV stuttering issue introduced in the Xbox One day one patch is much less of an issue on the Sony platform - video playback is much more consistent. Engine visual settings appear to be a match between the two consoles but curiously, the PS4 version does appear to run with a capped 30fps, giving a more consistent updat...
It might just be Motorsport. It could be a prologue. I have no clue, but I know we have a name at least.
Gran Turismo 7 seems to now be called Gran Turismo Sport and now I fully expect to see it at E3.

Amar is legit, read the rest of the thread.
"Engine visual settings appear to be a match between the two consoles "
I'm sure they're talking about effects, the visuals are not identical since 1 displays in 1080p and the other does not.
These are not just made up numbers with no relevance.
Identical is a bit of a stretch.

Cory Barlog says it looks better than this.

Cory's reply?
'challenge accepted! Actually the stuff we have now is topping that.'

So, yeah. Expect to be amazed again.
The difference between 720p and 1080p is over 100% in pixel count.
That's a big difference.
