There are Third party titles too. Trust me, this holiday in crowded for everyone. Excluding the Wii U obviously.
You need something for preseason. Quantum Break will benefit from missing the playoffs.
1.6/10
It's not expected in my opinion. Dropping the price and throwing in free games should have had them sell more, not ship less. Also in the second year you should be making progress. If you factor in the price of the free games its pretty much half the price it was.
Yeah, thats not good.
Q3 2014 was 2.0 million with the 360 doing 800k.
In Q3 2015 if the 360 had a 50% drop off that would leave the Xbox One around 1.2 million.
This is with price cuts too which makes it worse YOY and this is shipped not sold.
For reference between Jan and Mar the PS4 sold 1.7 million, more than the 360 and Xbox One shipped in less time. PS numbers are next week I believe.
Yes it is, as expected. The point is who put it up first and what represents. For example, the Xbox channel has always put it up first until now because they had the marketing agreement with Activision .
They have SWBF, COD and an unannounced exclusive for this holidays, they'll be fine. They also have exclusives coming out all year unlike the Xbox One and Wii U, which matters too ya know.
From what I've heard PS4 gets it first. Nothing concrete though.
It really doesn't matter though, between Star wars and COD PS4 commercials are going to be every 5 minutes around Christmas.
The PS4 is also rumored to be dropping straight to $299 before then. Expect a SWBF and Black Ops bundle.
I said it and no one believed it.
It's really not that shocking, PS4 is leading in every country.
PlayStation is also hyping it up on Twitter and as far as I know it not on Xbox's YouTube. So it's pretty much confirms it and represents a pretty big change.
It seems smoother. I don't think it's entirely fixed though.
It's different everywhere, different times for different areas.
I love the new item info screens, it makes it seem even faster.
The position the PS4 is in makes the numbers for marketing deals change for everyone involved. The money offer has to outweigh the benefits of the competition. For things like DLC and season passes for example, the benefits of marketing towards PS4 is huge considering the massive gap between them.
The PS4 is leading in the US, the PS4 is leading in the UK and the PS4 is leading worldwide. This is not how it was last gen between the PS3 and 360.
Everything el...
Actually, Sony does have a big exclusive for this holiday.
It's true. I told people, they didn't listen.
Former Treyarch employee Josh Olin.

The PS4 is leading in every country. This isn't the only Third party wanting to work with Sony because of the fanbase advantage either. It's not that shocking.
It's the same reason they're now silent about cloud computing.
To be honest little no name game sites and Brad Wardell hype up DX12 for Xbox One more than Microsoft themselves.
The PlayStation division is killing it right now, the PS4 will continue to be a massive success.
A bit off topic, but I was saying Sony had acquired Black Ops marketing and people thought it was crazy. Here is former Treyarch employee Josh Olin saying he expects it to happen.

The PS4 success is paying off in many ways.
This is the only gameplay screen available so far, showing First and Third person in split screen. Judge for yourself and stop with these articles. The screen is most likely from the PS4 version, since that's what they've been showing people behind closed doors.

Imo, it looks great as expected.
My prediction.
This E3 is going to surprise a lot of people. I haven't been this excited for an E3 for a while.
For those interested in information on the game, not just how they can be negative about it.
a) It's a Pro Skater game, not a spin off.
b) It's only been unofficially revealed for PS4, but is expected to be announced for Xbox One and PC too.
I'm hesitant, but kind of excited at the same time to see what this is all about.
There is no price wars, the PS4 hasn't dropped price once.
