As of right now, Hololens is a cool technology but the demonstrations they are showing are fantasy compared to what the device can actually do, like the Kinect.
I agree, it's gotten pretty bad recently.
There is 14-15 maps. The battle of Jaku is free DLC, Jaku is a planet, it will feature 2 or more maps.
The DLC launches a week after release.
Nice, looks great even with the obvious motion blur.
Here's another screen, taken from the dev diary.

Also great news on the map count, 14+ after the free DLC.
@ RealFry
If in IP doesn't get re-registered from the company after a certain period of time, I'm pretty sure others can use it. Not sure on the specifics through.
4 planets, multiple maps per planet. Plus the free DLC one, which probably has multiple maps as well.
No, Halo fans don't need to be worried. I know this concept comes from the MCC being broken, but if anything that will probably help this one launch as smoothly as possible.
That said, if 343 does screw this up, they better run for cover.
Just wondering, are you going to take the fact these maps are most likely 5-10x larger to support more players?
Or are they supposed to develop more massive maps to match the count of the previous games?
Game development is different now, than it was then. For one it's more expensive. Just pipe down, you have zero idea what you're talking about.

"MS has the new tech and what it looks like more of a forward development tools for Kojima to really spread his wings with the Xbox brand."
It sounds like you're saying Kojima is going to go to Microsoft for the secret sauce.
"I can see MS accommodating Kojima more than Sony ever would."
This is so wrong. Sony are the master of letting developers spend or even waste away money on their dis...
@brotard
Yes, but that's more Activision choice, more than Sony's. Sony could approach them about it though.
The Minecraft buy was not for Xbox, but Microsoft in general.
It makes more sense for Hololens, which again is not primarily for Xbox.
You really think they spent 2.5B on it for Xbox? Get real.
I think Sony will announce at E3 that Kojima Productions is now a First party developer.
Microsoft ships to all those countries and their highest total aside from the US and UK is 420,000 in France. Everywhere matters, you think people would get that by now.
PS4 is over a million in Japan while Xbox One is at 50k selling a few hundred a week.
Again, everywhere matters.
Activision owns the Crash IP, not Sony.
Do some research, PS4 has the most games released or in development.
Not everything is about money, especially in Japanese culture.
Its funny people think Microsoft can just buy everything they want, even though there is no examples for this that has to do with Xbox.
People thinking Kojima going to anywhere but Sony is talking crazy talk.
He lives in Japan, is actual friends with people at Sony and makes PlayStation exclusives by choice.
According to Paul Thurrott who has been dedicated to Windows and Microsoft products for years, say's it's not a prototype. He's pretty adamant about it.

He knew a lot of stuff about Xbox 360 and Xbox One before it was released. Read his twitter profile, it'll tell you who he is.
It's not a prototype.

There is next to no chance the FOV is as improved as it needs to be.

Which is it's main problem, that and clipping from what I understand.
