I'm just going to say this, I've seen people use the term 'Xbox One DX12 exclusive' used on this site suggesting it will catapult the Xbox One over the performance of the PS4, which honestly comes off as a bit desperate. Hopefully Xbox One sees performance gains due to the update, I just don't think it will be anything mindblowing, it will probably be similar to all the other performance updates they've already done to free up resources. Which is great.
Just from the games that will for sure be shown Microsoft is going to have a good E3. Between Halo 5, Scalebound, Gears Remaster, Gears 4 and other titles that should be shown, I expect them to have a great showing.
Well that's interesting.
I just looked through your submission history by chance and you seem have submitted and presumably written a bunch of articles on sales generally in favor of the Xbox One for Crave Online.
What changed?
It's amazing 18 months later you're talking about a launch title with 2D crowds and no weather effects like it says something.
Hololens is a fantastic piece of technology, but I'm skeptical of the types of games it will be able to produce that I'll be interested in. I can definitely see it being used for functions in games in very cool ways though. I'll probably have a better idea after E3, so for now I've reserved judgement.
The PS4 never intended to have any DRM that was not used on the PS3 and certainly nothing like the ways it was imposed on the original vision of the Xbox One.

It wasn't Phil Spencer who changed things, it was Microsoft as a whole who decided to try a new approach when things failed.
Phil Spencer is the one who was in charge of Microsoft's game studios during their abandonment of exclusives late in the 360 life and the upswing of Kinect titles. He was also the guy who brought the tie in with the NFL. This is all on his bio. I'm all for Microsoft changing for the better, but giving Phil Spencer full credit and blaming Don...
Its been pretty clear they have been in complete control for a while now. They have control of every region, with out dropping the price once. That's pretty impressive.
For a few reasons I believe it will be $299 by the end of the year, one of the main reasons being Project Morpheus launching next year and the other being that's what they did with the PS2 being in a similar position that they are now.
With that said, I think they will maintain contro...
It like everyone is forgetting about how they dealt with the PS2, that they didn't react to the Xbox Ones price drops and the fact they are launching Project Morpheus in 2016.
$299 by the years end is guaranteed.
Master level.

The reality is this.
We're talking about PlayStation, you're talking about Sony and I'm gonna guess it's because you're disappointed the Xbox One isn't doing better.
Maybe I'm wrong.
PCs as a gaming platform has lots of E3 type events. But it would be cool to have a big one to bring light to exclusives and various services. More exposure is usually a good thing.
I was talking about about software and to clarify I mean closer to the PS2 than PS3.
If you own a PS4 and like JRPG's, I can promise you, you'll enjoy this generation. It's a done deal.
I just read in the other article that they are selling 44.6k PS4's a day, now is definitely the time for investment into the brand.
As many great first party developers as they have, I think they will be investing a lot in Third party development as they did with SFV. Along with marketing partnerships of most of the big titles because of the gap in sales.
With the rumors swirling that the PS4 is going to go straight to $299, I think they are in a fantast...
44.6k PS4's sold everyday.

Lines up with things I've heard. Mainly future port begging.
$299 by the end of the year.
The PS2 had a price cut after 18 months irrc, the PS4 is in the same area currently. The PS2 received a $100 price cut, so will the PS4.
I think the article is questioning the extent of the boost. I just googled the 10% Kinect removal update and found this.

"PlayStation 4 fans who have long pegged Microsoft's competing Xbox One as the weaker console may have to rethink their stance on the next-gen graphics crown."
I don...
