My guess is that the delays are due to lack of resources. Sony never planned on investing in online, and they are struggling with the losses on the hardware. Sony thrives on putting carrots in front of horses mouths. All that matters is the mystery of Home, not the reality.
Sony just wants you to forget about their promises. Just be surprised when hell freezes over before you get one of Sony's promises.

We get the ability to install games as an option, and before the feature is released, there are people nitpicking it. They whine about having to swap disks, even though we have always had to swap disks!
FFXIII was the reason why MS held off on Halo. Square said that it was a last-minute decision to bring FFXIII to 360. MS realized that they didn't need Halo this time. Everyone thought that the 360 was out of ammo. Instead, they had more than enough ammo with Gears 2, Fable 2, massive dash overhaul, Netflix, game installs, and FFXIII.
Dead Rising runs at 720p or higher on 360 (1280x720). The Wii is 480p (640x480).
I said "blurrier". 480p is blurrier than 720p, yet the supposed Wii images look identical to the 360 pics.
These were presented as "images from the Wii version". Also, if you look at the Isabella images. They are literally the same. The 360 cut-scenes were 100% real time. Even if the Wii uses video for the cut-scenes, the resolution will be 480p max. The image of Isabella should look blurrier, but it doesn't.

Good point. Besides, we don't know what they mean by "medals". The images shown in the image look like Crackdown medals, which are simply achievements. Perhaps the medal system is the top achievement in the last few games?
The reason PS3 owners lack good exclusive games is due to the PSP. Sony spread their talent way too thin.
I beat KOTOR 1 and 2 many many times and I'm huge fan of KOTOR. Jade Empire is boring, boring, boring. Even though the engine is the same, the level design felt strange. Don't bother with this game.
Who has proof that MS paid money for FFXIII? If that were true, then MS would have had FFXIII a long time ago. Tetsuya Nomura of Square said that the large install base in the US and Europe was the reason. He also said that the small base in Japan prevented them from releasing it there. If MS paid for it, Japan would get it, too.
I was wrong about the 1x BluRay, but correct on the speed advantage of the 360. However, here's a quote from ars technica:

MS didn't pay for it. They have the largest install base outside of Japan. SE can't ignore 20 million consoles.
PSU, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Enchanted Arms, etc. I also bought many other Japanese games. FFXIII is a must buy for this 360 owner!

Among many other announcements, Netflix digital downloads on 360 takes the cake. 10,000 movies for no extra charge. (I'm not sure if you need a Netflix subscription? Was that $8.99 per month for unlimited movies?)
Anyways, that's far better than buying BluRay movies for 30-40 bucks each. (Or renting them at $6.00 a piece)
PS3 got a small edge with Vader in the roster. I want to be able to download him. But this will likely hurt future Soul Caliburs since everyone will know that the characters are not actually exclusive.
