SO4 characters are high-poly. See for yourself: http://www.gametrailers.com...
Home is a response to the old Xbox Live. If anyone's playing catch-up, it's Sony.
MS has too much invested in DLC and Netflix. Also, Sony is the competition.
You battle 100s of enemies in a hack-n-slash style. It's decent, but repetitive. The graphics were very good, though.
The animations look amazing. It's also nice to see that the camera is not fixed. You can actually control it.
Kotaku has poor taste. They censor their comments and filter the new members. If you're gay, your in. If your a straight Christian, you're out.
It's only the very beginning. I'm sure there will be more info/video soon.
99 Nights was average. But I agree that it's not going to sell systems. The art design and characters were cool in the first one. If they improve the combat, it could be good.
Is it DLC only or on a disk? I expected it to be DLC for spring.
It's nice to know!
I'd like to see what he's been doing. Itagaki has said many off-beat things regarding WWII and piloting. My guess is that he has a WWII flight game.
Taking down a Krogan is very hard. Even for soldiers,
Quote: "I just bought a PlayStation 3 console when I read the rumors of a PlayStation 4 coming out soon..."
This guy is clueless. Sony has too much invested in the PS3. Any rumors about PS4 are totally bogus.
If it's just a semi-3D version of the original (which appears to be the case), it will be bad. Many people have fond memories, but they should try playing the game again. Not to mention, Mike Tyson isn't in this version.
5 minutes of fun and then a dust collector, or coaster.
All talk, no show. It's just a tease.
The original Xbox and Xbox 360 are the 2 greatest deals ever for consoles. The first Xbox had an HDD standard, and a PC architecture which demolished the PS2 and Gamecube (and Wii) in power. The 360 has a 3-core CPU, 10MB EDRAM, and unified shader architecture. The blog is way off by saying that these consoles were "rip-offs".
LBP will be very cool. But it's a little far fetched to say that it's beyond anything we have now. It's a 2D side-scroller (with 3D objects).
The only reason Onimusha sold well was due to it being an early game on PS2. It was overhyped because people thought the pre-rendered movies were realtime.
I never played Dino Crisis.
What do you expect of N4G? It's all rumor and gossip by fanboys.
It's become typical of japanese games to lack modern special effects. They seem stuck in 1999 in terms of texture technology. But the characters and animations look good.
