Also, the DVD drive spins much faster than the 1x BluRay drive which is why many PS3 games require HD installs.
There's 2 problems with Jack's statement.
1) The 360 has many more exclusives and timed-exclusives.
2) The timing of the statement after the loss of FFXIII as exclusive.
Now, diehard Sony fans have nothing to get excited about. That's why they're angry. Microsoft has everything, except MGS4.
...and I regretted it. FFX was a good RPG, but not a system seller. So, I had no plans to buy a PS3 for FFXIII.
I suppose Nintendo sells the DS Lite at cost?
Whoever feels "betrayed" needs to understand that SquareEnix needs to eat. If anything, they should be mad at Sony for releasing a poorly designed machine, with many failed promises, late. Also, Sony should have paid to keep the franchise. But Sony has a history of abusing the fans.
You have to dig through the garbage to find real facts. There aren't many here. It's full of fanboys posting anything negative about other fanboys consoles.
The only new stuff, that's good, is on 360.
PS3 had Heavenly Sword, Lair, RFOM, etc.
360 had Gears, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, etc.
MS is supporting it's platform in a big way.
I almost saw that coming, but I'm still shocked! Cool!
Too Human has been bashed since E3 2006. If it sells over 400,000 copies, it's a success. Lair, on the other hand, was over-hyped for it's "silky smooth" controls. (exact words of previewer)
I can't play this until I get home from work. :(
Great craftsmanship on those weapons. He seems to have a nack for scale. He is also very observant on the handling of the weapons and how to properly shoot them (by Halo standards). He has a ton of potential and a bright future.
The problem is that Sony rushed the PS3 and didn't design an online infrastructure on day 1. Sony will never match Xbox Live this gen.
Sony dropped the ball and has been complacent since Sega launched the Dreamcast in 1998. Sony is used to making a console and then collecting royalties on games. Creating a unified online infrastructure is not in Sony's blood.
I remember being underwhelmed with HL2. At that time, I was far more impressed with Dues Ex 2. But Episode 1 and especially Episode 2 were great. This image looks amazing which shows great promise for Episode 3.
Excellent RPG that is almost equal to KOTOR. The combat is bad, however.
Frank is maxed out. It makes the game easier, but you still have to eat or you will die. It's not a big deal, but you can't be totally free to run around.
You mean that you don't have to eat stuff to keep living?
Sony and Nintendo are the ones that "abandon" their fans.
