I JUST beat the game 2 days ago. Yeah man...tears were dancing on my face.
I think of it more as evolving. Take for instance Journey. The music almost drives the game and elevates it to something more than just your regular video game experience. Going back a few years...Shadow of the Colossus. Another game that's visually amazing coupled with an atmospheric, hauntingly beautiful soundtrack that transcends videogames into, dare I say it...art.
Is this a welcome trend? I'd like to think so.
lol oops...funny enough, Hard Rain is a map on Left 4 Dead 2...damn you L4D!! All stuck in my head and shiz.
You know what'd be amazing? A new Animal Crossing and Pokemon with online multiplayer capabilities, the NEW killer Zelda game (not a remake), and a surprise sequel to Eternal Darkness. If those were announced today, I'd buy a Wii U today.
Wonderful list. Journey and Hard Rain are titles that pop in my mind when I think exclusive and unique gaming experiences only on the PS.
On the other hand, the one game I wish would come out on the PS that's 360/PC exclusives is Left 4 Dead. I have it on both systems and I would love to experience it with my PS friends.

Even if this thing were $100, I would pass on it. I don't care for it. It's gimmicky just like it's predecessor and besides a few Nintendo key games, I couldn't care less for it. I have the Dolphin emulator which lets me play amazing GC and Wii games in beautiful 1080p which satisfies any next-gen need. Nintendo effed this one up.
Bought this game thanks to the great reviews and the $10 I got from Sony. It's a great game. The music is terrific and the graphics are gorgeous; almost reminiscent of The Emperor's New Groove. Worth a buy.
Sorry but this sounds like a problem you have to deal with your bank, not Redbox. Personally: Redbox, to me, is genius and I absolutely love it. Renting games on it, on the other hand, is not a great idea. $2 a day is ridiculous and if I wanted to rent games, I'd probably turn to Gamefly.
Failed? Hardly. But it wasn't the opus that Square Enix was hoping for. The game did not feel at all organic and the besides Lara, the supporting characters were so annoying and one-dimensional.
That being said, I sincerely hope that SE fix these issues to have a truly outstanding rebirth of the series. Let's focus more on Lara and her evolution rather than pit her against a cast of nuisances riddled with shaky gameplay and a stronger story line.
I like the game. I do. But there's no way in hell it deserves that score. I was hoping for some deep character development and it just feels forced, rushed and for the ADHD crowd that just need its injection of adrenaline every other second. Recommend it, but like I said...no where near 100/100.
I read that as "How Paul McCartney got involved with Destiny's Child soundtrack". Somehow it would have been a bit more interesting.
It was $10 on Steam the other day. Superb game with absolutely amazing visuals to match.
I game because gaming has given me the confidence to tackle the real world. From guiding, leading, making difficult decisions and working as a team. Without games, I don't think I'd be the person I am today.
As someone who initially got Plus but was disappointed by it's early content, I can happily say I'll be getting this. The new PlayStation store is gorgeous and albeit a bit confusing at first to control, I'm super happy with its result.
I first got the Plus with sheer joy at its possibilities and promises but was, honestly, let down. My PS3 died on me so I played my 360 and PC a lot more. Months passed and I missed Uncharted and all my other PS3 games. Bough...

I think the answer is pretty obvious: HELL YES! I can't wait for the mini games like "Who can catch chlamydia first" or " who can be the most talent less and make more money". Good times.
