You might want to try changing your refresh rate under display settings>advance settings>monitor to something else. 59hz to 60hz or 60hz to 59hz or something else that is available in the drop down menu. It worked when my desktop with integrated ati hd 3200 would flicker on and off when connected to my hdtv.
Looks like a slightly upgraded Halo 3 with a poorly animated cinematic kill added (let me just stand here while this guy climbs up my back and breaks my neck).
@2.9 Yes and that's exactly why you're an Apple douche. I can't afford an ipad?! ahahahahahahah I can't afford a new Porshe or a condo on the beach. A frickin' ipad? Please... There is a big difference between not being able to afford one(which anyone with a job can do) and having the sense not to waste my money. But that's what makes you a hipster loser. Insinuating people don't have money if they don't WANT to pay for overpriced crap.
BTW my Lenovo S10 with a 3 cell batt...
A 10" netbook is the same dimensions as a ipad except it is .5 inches thicker. So unless your purse doesn't have an extra half inch of width to spare then yes it will fit. Slimmer and smaller netbooks should be coming out soon as well, now that Intel has integrated the graphics and memory controller onto the same die of the Atom processor. Especially if people don't mind buying gimped devices like the ipad. See other companies can remove usb ports, vga port, ethernet port and memory ...
I love how people saying they will buy this because it fits their needs. Then they shoot off a few reasons none of which a netbook for about 60% of the price can't do. Face it you want it because it has an apple logo on the back. Nothing more nothing less.
List of games still online as of July 2k8. Now if only have of these games are still online now that is still a hell of a lot more then will be available on the xbox after April.

Too bad for people that still play the original xbox online. But it is too funny. Whenever the servers were pulled from a PS2 game you would get comments like "that's why I pay for Xbox live!". I can still play Crimson Skies etc with my friend/cousin forever. It cracks me up that MS is now shutting down every single Original Xbox game while there are still ps2 games online. Why do people pay for Live again? Must be the ads...
He's not suing Apple. He just filed a complaint to the FTC.
Again you're thinking like a tech nerd. Enthusiasts may think the 775 socket is dead but I bet Intel still sells more 775 chips then 1156 and 1366 combined. According to Tom's Hardware the majority of quad core chips are sold under the sweet spot of $200. Intel has 1 competitive chip to offer at that price and its the i5 750. AMD owns the $100 to about $180 market for quad cores.
Maybe people buy an amd because they're cheap? Not everyone needs a super nerded out computer. You can get an official AMD quad core for $100. You can't even sniff any kind of intel quad core until $150. Sure I have an I5 as my main comp but I also have a Athlon 5000+ with all 4 cores and the 6mb cache unlocked. Its clocked at 2.4 ghz for my media center PC. So I basically got a decent quad core cpu for under $50. Yeah not all amd cores can be unlocked stable but its at least a 50% chan...
Did it really look that bad on the consoles? It looked fine on the PC, even had some very nice effects here and there.
@1.8
And what exactly can this magic entertainment device that is so cool do that a $300 netbook can't? Let's see it has a touch screen and its thinner. What can a netbook for $200 less do that this thing can't? For one thing a netbook doesn't fail miserably as a computer. USB ports, mem card readers, flash sites, flash games and a real keyboard. And you can actually use it on your lap without breaking your neck. Just keep telling yourself its sooo cool because its Apple an...
Aren't blu-ray burners like $150 now? I bought the LG 6x one back in 2k8 for $225 -35% bing cashback on ebay for about $150. I'm actually surprised how well the burner prices have held up. It's only dropped about 33% in around 15 months. Blu-ray media on the other hand has dropped like crazy. They were $8-$10 minimum back then now you can get them on sale for $2 or less sometimes.
Wrong. Epic owns the gears of war franchise not MS. http://gearsofwar.xbox.com/... . And MS had a deal to publish the first 2 Gears of War games. The 3rd game is up in the air and free for grabs. Though MS is probably willing to pay a boat load for it.
When has Nintendo been known for great stories? They have been rehashing the same character's for 25 years. There's no stories left to tell. Nintendo's two strength's are character recognition and game play. Unless they start pushing new franchises that actually include a story that will never change. But they only seem interested in pushing the same old mario, zelda stuff and wii fit and wii sports.
I'd be shocked if MS was losing money on each unit 4 years after launch. If they are then that's just poor planning.
I think the Wii's best days are behind it. This price cut will help keep sales at this level or slightly higher but whose left to buy these systems? I think the non-gamers are gone. The fad chasers are gone. The only people buying the systems now seem to be young children (Nintendo will always win in this area) and women using it as a interactive fitness tape. I think most gamers left long ago. I haven't used my Wii in about 6 months. But it really will be interesting to see the impact...
SCEA should strongly consider releasing this in the US. Unfortunately, they usually have their head up their butt when it comes to limited or special editions so I doubt it. We never even got the silver or white fat ps3s.
@1.20
Wow its that easy huh? Because Sony only sells to corps right? They don't sell to middlemen like distributors and wholesalers? Of course those distributors got nothing better to do then to bother the businesses they sell to and ask hey how many you sell this week of product A because fanboys want to know! I guess people pay for NPD estimates just because companies like them and want to keep them around. They don't need the data since companies already have their own so...
@4.3 Only problem is you can't put your own videos on a 360 hard drive. At least the last time I checked.
