Because talking up to 15 months ahead is pointless. Not to mention at least 2 of the "exclusive" games he listed are coming to PC day and date. Also Gears 3 is an unconfirmed exclusive because MS doesn't automatically own the rights to it like Gears 2 and Epic will want titanic bucks for it. I mean if you want to be silly and talk that far ahead then the PS3 has:
Demon Souls
God of War Collection
God of War 3
Ratchet and Clank Crack In Time

MS should of spent all that money they rake in from Live to create a smaller, sexier more reliable 360. Instead they burned all that money paying off 3rd party pubs for timed exclusive dlc and games or just to make a game multiplat (FF13). 90% of those exclusives end up on the PS3 anyway. It was a terrible waste of money and I doubt it helped their sales much at all. Oh well at least 3rd parties made out like bandits.
@1.16 Asus is an off brand motherboard? What would be a brand name motherboard then? There have also been a ton of deals going around for power supplies. Newegg had a 400 watt Cosair PS for $25 after rebate. And yes a 400 watt Cosair will power a quad core as well as a 4850 easy. I put one together myself for a friend. You can actually get a computer with better parts for this price but it would require waiting for deals and doing rebates.
Dood below me can't read I guess. ...
Yeah its pretty amazing that they gave a game this light on new content an almost perfect score. But I said the same thing when some sites were claiming Left for Dead which has even less content and worse graphics a GOTY nominee. Valve gets away with selling almost no content and packing old content with some new content and charging full price (Orange Box) why shouldn't Microsoft.
Strange I have the game running with similar setting with an overclocked 260 gtx and I'm getting similar benchmarks with physx on high. 51 Average, 26 minimum. I would have expected more from a 285 gtx.
I preordered last night and was surprised that Amazon added the $5 off my next purchase to my account automatically.
I have a feeling uncharted 2 will surprise a lot of people and do very well. I'd guess 4 to 5 million when all is said and done. You can already see the reviews are having an effect on preorders. Uncharted 2 has climbed within the top 10 at Amazon almost a month before its release. I'm not sure if the original Uncharted ever got within the top 20 and it ended up selling 2.5 million copies.
Yeah seeing as how most of it is really old tech and it doesn't get much play time it's not surprising. Haven't turned mine on in about 3 months.
@1.2 Yeah if this guy ever bothered to check putting the 360's power brick on top of the 360 makes the system roughly the same size and weight as the original ps3.
Your talking about upgrading the hard drive on the same system. He's talking about transferring stuff to a new system. Apples and oranges.
If you feel so strongly about it donate your money to your favorite devs. I see them as a business not a charity. Those successful enough will stay in business. Those that aren't will disappear and new devs will form to take their place. That's capitalism. They work hard for their money and I work hard for my money. If I want to save $20 to $30 buying a used game with my money then I will.
As for Gamestop I got no love for them just because their used games are usually in c...
Co-op is an option. No one has to play the game in co-op mode. A 2nd person doesn't have to be added to the story. It can just be a generic dude like in the original Resistance. So how in anyway would that take away from the game if someone wants to play it by themselves? I usually play the game by myself first. Then play through again with a friend. How is that a bad thing?
I was very negative on the controls at first. But honestly after an hour of playing you get accustomed to it. Its really not that big a deal while shooting. It was just kind of stupid not let you move forward with the knife.
It would happen a hell of a lot less if MS would let us remove our goddamn credit card info. Honestly, this has to be illegal. Where are those blood sucking lawyers when you need them.
Wii sales have been dropping consistently for the last month and a half in Japan. No way there are supply issues. Nintendo would rather sell Wii's in Japan then any other country at the moment. Nintendo as well as Sony are getting killed by the exchange rate of the strong yen right now.
X-play is full of it. Res 5 is at least a 4 out of 5. Especially when they gave 50 cent BOTS a 4/5. I have played both games and no way in hell is 50 cent BOTS a better game. Its repetitive as hell and it has its own control problems as well. I mean how many times are they going to have you shoot down a helicopter as a boss battle. I counted at least 4 frickin' time... RE 5 is a much better thought out game and is a blast in co-op.
The fact that neither MS or Take Two would release how many dls Lost and Damned sold makes me think it isn't doing nearly as well as either party had hoped. Since when has MS or a 3rd party publisher declined to boast about stats?
Nintendo's cheapness is truly amazing sometimes. They have been making a killing selling this ancient hardware for over 2 years. Now they want to squeeze more money out of either retailers or consumers just because the current exchange rate isn't in their favor.
@1.3 Sony's no Saint but compared to the devil known as Microsoft? I definitely see them as the lesser of two evils.
All 3 companies use shipped numbers. And its not lying its the only way a manufacturer can keep track of sales. How the hell is a manufacturer suppose to count every system that is sold at retail? Use your brains for something other then arguing. BTW Sony changed their reporting numbers a few years ago from manufactured to shipped. Not from shipped to the end consumer. There is just no way to count units sold at retail. I know all the crazed fanboys will disagree but please if any of y...
