This has been asked for a while.
Probably just temporary.
Or it could be a size issue. M$ has a limit as to how big games can be on XBL, so...
oh my god, is this why the shortages exist?! I'm dying to know?
I'm thinking it's because they released PS3s in a different country, but now this came up.
Hey, genius!
Sony owns Naughty Dog. They've had them since 2001...
EDIT@above: Yeah, but that won't mean they can go multiplat whenever they want. They would need Sony's approval.
they could buy them to stop that from happening. They did it to Media Molecule just recently. They probably aren't afraid.
Bungie did the same thing. Left developing exclusively for M$ to work on other projects. Neither of them have been confirmed to be working with the other side, though.
You'd be surprised how many wouldn't grasp that, buddy...... you'd be surprised...
Do you not use Windows?
Just to make things clear, that's just $20 away from being the price of a PS2.
........... oh, thank god! I was hoping we won't put up with it.
A physical copy of something will always be my first choice. It's why I bought Warhawk on disc instead of via the PlayStation Store.
I'd like to apologize to PC gamers.
As PS3 gamers, we know what it's like to have to tone down performance or visuals in order to match other platforms in quality. It's a shame, really =(
NPD: United States
VGC: North America
We have neighbors, dude. They're called Canada.
This thing will be running on multiplatform games... it'll be expensive (imagine paying $15 a month and feeling like you aren't getting your money's worth).... and everything is based on downloads.
I say "too early".
Come back in 2020 and I'm sure people would welcome OnLive with open arms.
omfg.... This is the one game I literally can't wait for. I'm downloading so many different racing game demos just trying to get my fix until it comes out.
And PS:
You must've not heard the 360 fans trying to scream louder than the boos toward the end.
I remember there being a way around it. I just never bothered. The only time I go to Hulu is when I want to see if they have a clip that YouTube happens to be missing... which, 95% of the time, never comes up on Hulu.
Yeah, they must be the same 10 year olds that boo at the opposing baseball/football/basketball/h ockey teams during big games.
The same 10 year olds that boo comedians they don't like.
The same 10 year olds that boo a bad performance.
The same 10 year olds that boo a band/singer they don't like.
Behind every piece of plastic and metal, there's a person representing it. Maybe they just don't like that person.
People have likes an...
....no, dude. The owners of Hulu said it themselves.
They're charging in order to bring in more movies and shows to the service. Some channels don't agree with Hulu's free service, so making a fee would bring them over.

"360 still outsold PS3 in US in January. Shortages then?!! haha!11!!"
THAT'S NOT THE SURPRISE! 360 HAS BEEN OUTSELLING PS3 IN THE US FOR SOME TIME NOW!!!
The surprise is that, after 3 years, the 360 finally outsold the Wii in the US. MY, GOD you guys are idiots! That's why Nintendo and Sony warned about shortages in November/December!
HOLY SH*T, You guys are dumb!
If it were 2007, where we would have a few years of free Hulu....
They start charging in April, I believe.
Call me when you have YouTube :D
Neither of them should be embarrassed. It was a simple misunderstanding:
Last generation, it was all about graphics, power and hardcore games. That's all everyone wanted and it showed with games like San Andreas and Halo 2. Sony and MS simply brought that over to the 7th gen, expecting the same to happen, only they'll have more power to make all three of those happen.
Then the unexpected happened. Social networking took off. Farmville became popular... the iPhone app...
