Agreed. God of War: Ascension is going to be one of the best games of this year! I don't think Bioshock Infinite will be as great, doubt it will match the first game but hopefully it'll be better than the second. I don't care for Metal Gear Rising after that horrendous demo.
This game is going to blow people away! After everything I've seen & heard I'm 100% sure this will be the best game in the amazing series! I've already convinced 5 of my friends to get this game :P God knows how many internet people I've convinced to get this game, a lot I'm guessing. XD
@EeJLP- Well the first Uncharted game is mostly considered mediocre to decent, I think 7/10 is a perfectly reasonable score for it. It's critical reception was inflated because it was a launch game and one of the better ones at that, if it had released even a year later exactly how it is it wouldn't have scored as high. More so than both of those games, God of War: Ascension which is getting a ton of hype from the live-action trailer and the new 30 min demo. Exclusives do matter but only to the minority, even the biggest exclusives have a relatively low tie ratio, the majority of gamers play mostly multiplatform games with maybe a few (if any) exclusives.
So Sony Santa Monica are currently creating the upcoming masterpiece God of War: Ascension, they're assisting with the development of The Last Guardian and they're creating a new IP for the PS4?
They have got to be the hardest working developers ever, the amount of games they collaborate on in addition to releasing 2 of the most acclaimed games ever with GoW 2 (released during this generation) & GoW3 is just amazing!

I'm so excited for God of War: Ascension. I'm not really interested in The Last of Us but I'll try the exclusive demo that comes with God of War: Ascension and give that a chance to impress me. I think Heavy Rain is an okay game so if Beyond: Two Souls is better then I'll buy it but only at a reduced price. I've never been much into Gran Theft Auto games but I might try GTA V at a reduced price.

Now that SuperBot definitely won't be making the sequel I hope Sony Santa Monica uses their experience with the fantastic multiplayer component of God of War: Ascension to reboot the PS mascot brawler idea and make the battle arenas 3D environments with a lot of interactivity.
Also they would actually put effort into a story mode this time, something fun and with multiple characters crossing paths with each other instead ...

I tried the demo for this game with an open mind, I hated it. The difference between both console versions is negligible, that's something I guess. I urge anyone considering to purchase this game to try the demo first.
How the hell does that apply to God of War III you fucking idiot. The story is great and the gameplay is the best in the genre. It didn't need multiplayer and the price is worth it for one of the best games ever made.

The term AAA only refers to the budget of a game. If a game is AAA it just means it has a large budget, it just so happens that most AAA games are critically acclaimed and big sellers due to a sufficient budget allocated to marketing and the games development.
