It's not the same thing though is it? This is clearly no more than a demo of what will be a brilliant full game.If people are genuinely happy to pay this for a half hour long go at a game the we're going to end up seeing even worse money making tactics from software houses than we already see.
not sure why you're getting disagrees. to me next gen doesnt mean just mean better graphics but also a move closer to real world.this needs more realism in worlds themselves - so the level of interactivity with background objects and also the realism of human interactions - so guards not all acting the same way and a level of a that allows them to make a choice or do something unexpected.
If you've been happily playing the game and enjoying the visuals why would you suddenly not enjoy the game on the back of this?
Got this yesterday and it is pretty damn fantastic. I agree with the article completely, which must be a first! If you liked the way Resogun brought shoot 'em ups into the modern world, then this is the whatever-you-call-this-genre equivalent.
it's just a little flash game. it's not bad but very short and if it wasn't made by a nd dev then nobody would rate it at all.
this isn't even a proper article, more like the drunken ramblings of a semi-illiterate blogger. There's too many posts like this making it onto n4g. Can't we just stick to proper articles by real journalists?
I downloaded this last night. There was so much faffing about with Square-Enix registration and trying to get into the damn thing (about an hour before finally giving up on one time registration and finding i didn't need it anyway - thanks S-E) only to then find i could find no way to actually get onto a server and play that I deleted the whole thing and won't be purchasing it even if it scores 10/10 all round.
S-E can get lost.
Can they just stop with AC now. I hope it won't sell very well so they abandon the series and get on with making innovative games. My hopes are usually dashed when it comes to modern gamers enjoying new experiences, however.
I'll be getting it on my 360 - maybe - so it isn' that next gen. much happier with graphics on my ps4. also, i get the feeling it'll actually be a huge let down as the gameplay i've seen suggest it might get boring quite quickly.
Micromachines like the original game
this is exactly what i thought.next gen needs real cities not just empty backgrounds.
I've got a PS4. Articles like this are tripe for either console.
I hope Watchdogs is good. AC is becoming extremely stale.
People should stop buying AC and make them think of some new ideas.
This is a stupid article. Instead of real reviews or journalists testing game designers, we simply write out how excited people attached to the game are to play it.
lol. this way at least the game will make a change though!
yep i've got this message in the uk and also no submenus are visible under the games on the home. i appear to be logged into psn though so a bit odd.
AC4 is the first AC game where I've gone out to 100% complete it and have chased down the chests etc. Gotta say it's ridiculous. Why not make the game a bit harder (you currently would be extremely hard pushed to lose and the controls have become so streamlined you don't really control very much of what happens) and get rid of some of the stupid searching for pointless artefacts and chests that exist merely to eek out some extra playing time?
how is saying that an addiction to guns is a national idiocy offensive?
surely it's just obvious?
anyway, the protagonist is a journalist visiting an empty, abandoned asylum so he really wouldn't be taking a weapon in real life (in all but maybe one country)
no idea i'm new to ps4!
appears that we get stuff slightly after north america so far.
The Sony approach, using Move, camera and Morpheus headset seems a good one to me. Having Oculus and Sony considering the same problems can't be a bad thing - opponents yet at the same time joint pioneers.
