I always expected this game to look great but have boring gameplay based on previous information. Not sure why do many jump in to defend a game just because they like the graphics when they haven't tried it?
And you have to play it forever if you want a platinum. Hate it!
The more I play it the more I like it and I'm able to play pretty well. I'm a decent player in real life and have a good grasp of how shots should play. My only concern is that the cushions slide far too much as if the whole thing is polished. It means it's difficult to judge doubles and snooker escape. The angle of view also doesn't help there.
The counter argument is that often these huge worlds are huge for the sake of it with meaningless side tasks used to flesh out otherwise much shorter experiences (like AC4 Black Flag).
I know I'll be in the minority but I actually think AAA games have become too big so that you end up feeling like you're grinding if you look at 100% completion.
I do see your point. In interviews they have talked, or suggested at least, that there may be some sort of darker side to the universe which will give rationale to the game and cause players to journey to the centre of the universe. Hopefully that narrative will be strong enough to carry the impressive technical feat of creating the universe.
Er, the video shown at E3 was gameplay.
If you mean you want details of the story or some narrative about how to complete the game and what mysteries may await the player (i.e. spoilers), then I'd rather they didn't tell us.
4 of those things (2-5) are pretty much irrelevant.
He's a bit of a dick but fair play to him with the 2nd comment - spot on!
TBH Fez isn't that great. I've got two thirds through before getting bored. It's an interesting idea and is well made but it's hardly some giant step into the unknown. It's very interesting and deserves to score okay for that but it's a very poor straight platformer by old standards.
I only played FIFA 14 so can't compare but FIFA 14 was absolutely dire.
It shows under demos for me
Press R3 to look in the crack.
Only a few minutes into the trailer/demo/whatever and it's really atmospheric and pretty damn scary tbh. Just imagine playing this wearing Morpheus!
Fifa 15 is the last chance to keep me purchasing these games. If it's as crap and rigged as fifa 14 ea can Bo****ks.
So my Leicester players will still look crap then despite being in the EPL?
A new low by the kind of resolution obsessed gamers we could do without.
I'm halfway through after buying it a few months ago. It's okay. Not a bad little concept so can see why it'd score okay but certainly failing to see how it got 90+ scores. Not exactly a good platformer - it's the concept that carries it.
I didn't own a PS3 so I have a legitimate reason to buy this game.
So why on earth would I want to watch the first hour and ruin the surprise of what's to come?
I hate it when info like this is released why is the games industry moving towards pre-released artwork, alphas and betas and therefore ruining the actual games?
I'll be happy if the referees stick to giving the correct decisions and if they stop rigging the game with previous determined winners. I just want a fair match, that's it.
I think multiplayer trophies should be banned personally, I hate them!
No jumping to conclusions either way isn't great but this game became a massive hope on the back of some decent graphics and not much else. Maybe it'll be game of the year but the little bit of gameplay I've seen just looks like pretty graphics with cover shooting. If it isn't substantially more than that then it'll be crap.
