What I want to know:
If I purchase the AC4 season pass do I get all DLC including this or is it actually the rip off it seems to be when I read the explanation of what's included?

The reality is the Wii U is something of an irrelevance to most people. Sorry it just is.
What gets me though, is that the graphic presents a truly interesting talking point about the costs of AAA development, the diversity of gaming, and the prospect of failure and how all these things affect areas such as numbered games, lack of crativty, and the indie scene but yet an idiot has chosen to simply complain about one device not being shown in the picture.

When Need For Speed 6002 or Battlefield 67 are still shifting units by the bucketload it causes the likes of EA to keep shipping them out every year. We all know that the difference from one NFS game to the next is negliable (and the same for BF, COD etc) but we still purchase the next game - often for the simple fact others have so we have to follow to keep multiplayer fun.

I'm on ps4 but think it's extremely disingenuous to not count project spark or titanfall simply because they're on pc (another ms platform). We're talking console gaming and they're exclusive to xbox. both look good too.

I disagree. The reason modern games are less FUN is that they didn't necessarily require engagement before.
Modern games are determined to draw you in a present an all encompassing vision - and there are plus points to that - but it does detract from just having blind fun because you're almost forced to care what happens if you make mistakes.

I've just moved from Xbox 360 to PS4. I like the free games - and there's some really good stuff already - but the Xbox servers appear to be better than the Playstation servers.

Gaming is going the same way as music and movies before it. From what used to be a niche with quality games we now have a cynical marketing exercise. It's not so much the prices - next gen prices are ridiculous but will go down once last-gen is out the way. It's the DLC, lack of imagination, reuse of old ideas via franchises etc that makes me think we're going to end up with paint by numbers gaming where the One Directions of this world (i.e. big franchises like Assasins Creed, CO...

Screenshots show a small difference and as I'm currently playing the PS4 version I'll report the fact that it doesn't really look next gen. The water looks quite nice but apparently also does on old gen versions. The world itself and the characters are graphically the same as AC3 on Xbox360/PS3.
need to move onto another game not continuously issuing ac. it should have been 3 games long with a game about pirates next.dont get me wrong i like ac a lot but why do we have to have endless franchises?

i have it but think 5 is a bit OTT to be honest. Its a nice game but kinda limited.And I still got frustrated when failing to hit whole chains or flowers hid amongst others etc so wasn't truly as relaxing as it's intended to be.
