This gen: first 24 hours in, needs a patch.
Devs really need to get off their ass, there really isn't an excuse for it especially with a game like GT5, 6 years in the making and it still needs a patch in less than 24 hours.. pathetic really.

Obviously people here don't know games like iRacing, rFactor and GTR2.. GT5 pales in comparison to these games content and physics accuracy-wise. Sure the graphics aren't the best and can't hold a candle to GT5 but they were made years ago. When you have a ton of racing fanatics and an open and moddable platform you get games with more content than ANY vanilla game.
10 bucks. And like Nihilism said before you marked him for trolling, I'm not very surprised that it's still being played to this day. It's still one of the top PC shooters, more competitive than any console game and most PC games. It goes to show what can be accomplished if devs and modders put effort into their games.

Yeah I liked playing female Shep more than the male. If I'm going to be staring at ass the entire game might as well enjoy the view. <Archangel> was my favorite crew member as well, along with either Miranda or Samara for biotics.

In b4 the storm!!! Like what people have said before, the hype got the best of people. This would have been scored high if people's expectations for it weren't through the roof. Nevertheless 8.5 is not at all bad, in my book that's a damn good score. It's about time they released it, if it went on for any longer I'm sure people would have just been more disappointed.

Monstrosity? I would kill for a classic VW bus like that, and I'm a motorcyclist. FYI tons of cars race around the Top Gear track. Sometimes they're makeshift vehicles too, like when the crew gets a challenge. And those are by far the funniest moments of Top Gear.

Battlefield is not exclusive. If anything it would be PC exclusive since you know.. it's a PC franchise. Bad Company is basically Battlefield lite. I'm hoping the consoles don't water down the game.
Even the thought of buying a laptop for gaming disgusts me. By Cyber Monday, PC components' prices will have dropped so much that you won't even look at a 'gaming laptop' the same way.

Far from the best FPS, but I agree it is slowly getting better.
I really do hope that those shots were taken from a camera.. that's not the GT5 quality graphics that I've seen in picture time and time again. It's only the night shots though.. the rest look great. Would have liked to see a little bit more AA though, but I digress. GT5 is already pushing the PS3 pretty hard.
Like I said in another article, games are being developed for the lowest common denominator. PC hardware is so far beyond console that it could be considered 2 or 3 gens ahead. And then the upcoming Bulldozer and Sandy will just shatter the hardware world, the only people who really think console hardware hold a candle to PC will be the uber fantards. Tech has gotten so advanced now and consoles are being left in the dust.
