ZOMG man you need to upgrade. BTW amount of GPU memory doesn't really mean anything, you have a 1GB 5770 and a 1GB 460, the 460 will be faster. It depends on the architecture, efficency, drivers, just too many variables that make just the amount of VRAM useless. Take a 2GB 5970 vs a 1.5GB 580, the 580 is just as fast if not faster than the 5970.
Nvidia is really putting the pressure on AMD, 5 days before the 69xx drop :P good for the consumer.

People don't play Racing sims to have a jolly good time, they play it to beat their best track times by milliseconds. PC sims like iRacing are much more of a hardcore simulator than the console sims.

Well Valve will break this trend when they drop Episode 3 or Half Life 3. HL2 is still the pinnacle of FPS storytelling to this day and no FPS game has even come close to it yet. I'm actually sick of these types of shooters, the story is nonexistent and the whole campaign focuses on getting your attention by things blowing up in your face. What ever happened to good writing? I enjoy singleplayer more than multiplayer and the recent rush of cookie cutter FPS games that cater to the 12 year...
So I guess people are just ignoring the fact that there are racing sims on PC that far outclass GT5 in everything but graphics..
And for the record Mario Kart is the greatest racer in my book.
