@UltraNova
"Wait are you suggesting that it had nothing going for it?"
Quote where I said that please. Evidently you jumped the gun and didn't read my question correctly as I asked, "Can you talk specifics about what this game did so well that makes the criticism unwarranted?". What about that suggests the game had 'nothing going for it'?
Are you actually listing graphics as part of a deep analysis? Also,...
@SolidGamerX
I hope you haven't bad mouthed MS for their cross-gen game strategy because 4 of those were available on the PS3 and 1 one launched a year later on the PS3. Flow specifically was available since 2007, so did you buy an all new console for a 6 year old game?
Also, Killzone and Knack are mediocre games at best. If you bought the system for these games then you have pitifully low standards.
@Oldboy

People love saying this game was judged too harshly, but I never see any deep analysis of the content from them. Can you talk specifics about what this game did so well that makes the criticism unwarranted? Others are more than welcome to as well.
@SpaceRanger
"But the story was pretty consistent at a writing level and the levels were some of the most robust this gen, probably even the most unique in terms of atmosphere (air balloon, mansion, boat docks, etc.)"
What you described was the setting. If you consider what the level looks like to be whats important in the design then you've completely missed how the design of a level impacts the gameplay. This game frequently, despite being...
No it wasn't; it was an extremely shallow game. Creating a dark fantasy world and the best monsters you can include are Lycan and Vampires? And then limit the Vampires to cutscenes and Lycan to QTE boss fights and extremely stupid telegraphed AI? The writers failed in just about every way to use the historical characters/setting effectively. Even Tesla's inclusion as a character lacked depth. This game was in no way amazing in just about any area including gameplay, level design, char...
"I don't even subscribed to any of them but your argument is BS!"
My argument is bullshit because I actually recognize someone could not give a shit about the size of either library and find specific titles play a bigger role in their decision to choose one service over the other? LOL. Do I actually need to explain why this logic is dumb as fuck?
It's gonna have to go to XGP. If we were just looking at the library it would be debatable and up to what games fit your personal preference, but the fact that XGP gets a lot of games on the day of release, or extremely soon after the release, is a huge perk and more than makes it worth the asking price. On top of that if a game is leaving the service and you really want to keep it you get a nice little discount.
PS Now is a good service, especially so since the price d...
Can't wait for the beta! By that time it'll have 4-5 times the content of a full priced console game and not even be finished.
"Mastah reduce FTW!!"

***Japanese developers will never fully support home consoles when their games perform significantly better on handhelds.***
FTFY
In which case what on earth was the point in you saying "that should tell you all you need to know"? Why do i need to know about you personally not trusting them?
Um, Destiny didn't create an all new genre. The formula you're referencing has been used in MMO's years before Destiny was even properly revealed. Also, a lot of the "formula" used made the same mistakes that other developers had made like with LOTRO. Bungie had absolutely no idea what they were doing and the only reason Destiny succeeded was because of hype, budget, and a huge ass marketing deal.
Destiny is not in any way distinctive enough to be cons...
So all polls are bad because you can cherry pick one example when the methodology used was questionable?
@Apocalypse Shadow
***But without numbers to verify, we have to go on their WORD that it's successful.***
This may shock you but if you were going to get numbers they'd come from MS. So when MS ays its successful you imply that they're lying, but then if they gave you numbers you take it as fact. You have to take Microsoft's WORD for both positions.
There's a logical disconnect in your thought process.
Made a new account just for that post, eh?
@Thundercat77
Nice try, but i can actually point to numerous sources that match up with what I say and refute your limiting of the words usage:
Google: "a return by a well-known person, especially an entertainer or sports player, to the activity in which they have formerly been successful."
Merriam webster: "a return to a former position or condition (as of success or prosperity)"
Cambridge: "...
@Thundercat77
"In order to make a "comeback" or "rise", you needed to be on top first but since that has never been the case of Xbox, there is no such thing as a "comeback" or "rise again"
No, you're using a made up definition of comeback. To make a comeback they'd just have to achieve similar levels of success that the 360 saw.
The big bang doesn't really play much of a role in the lives of the vast majority of atheists. It's hardly a religion to them if they don't even think about it on a yearly basis.
@JokerBoy422
I mean which God? This is kinda the problem with the God answer. You say hes right but someone else who also believes in a God is going to say you're wrong and that its their God and not yours. We dont really have much to go on to prove one over the other.
Also, worth pointing out you're presenting a false choice. Just because you believe in God doesnt mean you can't believe in evolution.
@RazzerRedux
Completely agree, but do we have evidence to suggest that is the route they're taking?
@Kumakai
"you've obviously never been to e3. There are tons of demos to try of unreleased gear and games, presentations to see. you get to interact with the studios, not just watch a web video."
You evidently didn't read his comment correctly. He said 'for the vast majority' and that is wha...
