Sounds pretty straightforward. We've got numerous stories in history with this sort of thing. An obvious example being Witch trials and how they came about to begin with.
So people who say it looks generic are being edgy, but it's perfectly fine for you to say it looks tactical and not "typicial"? How do you justify your view more than they can theirs? Wouldnt want to assume you're being hypocritical.
@Christopher
"We're always going to complain when people do it. Heck, I got downvoted to heck and complained to when I made opinions about a game that showed off 5+ minutes of gameplay"
Anyone who cares about upvotes and downvotes shouldn't expressing an opinion. I'm not concerned about lurkers who cant go beyond a single click to express why they agree or disagree with something. Everyone who's interested in this game in some wa...
In other words everyone should stfu until launch? Good suggestion. Show us how it's done, lol.

"Are you retarded? Did you know that more powerful specs are made by people and studios and not by hardware? The games will look however devs make them to look.
Can you quack out this comment in a way that makes sense, and then elaborate on how it relates to my comment?

"You're conveniently missing the part about it not being 1st party"
You're conveniently moving the goalposts. So now it's not 'next-gen' games; its 'next-gen 1st party' games we have to wait for to see what these consoles are really capable of. So basically 2-3 AAA games in a good year? Maybe 1-2 on a slower year?
My god 9th gen sounds so exciting/s
@rainslacker
Be more specific. Don't beat around the bush. Say what you want to say. Which CGI trailer are you referencing? If it's Hellblade 2 you're referencing there might be a slight hint in that theres a '2' in the title. Or do you think that excitement has nothing to do with the predecessor on the newly announced title?

Then speak to the developers and tell them that when they announce a game they shou...
Thats what happens when all you give is 6 seconds. If information is not provided people will speculate. It's only natural.
"E3 isn't open to public anyway"
2017 was. Did something change in other years since?
I actually think its incredibly entertaining. E3 isn't worth watching for anything other than Sony, but those same people love mentioning all those 3rd parties when the Switch has a better year for exclusives than the PS4.
"And at one point, one of the little creeps sitting around that table, was a multi- —close to a billionaire—who told me he was an artist because he was able to come up with games to teach you how to kill people..."

How gracious of them.
Let's see if the detractors have learnt their lesson from the last time they thought the Switch wouldn't be able thrive in the market.
"Man I wish we would have a next gen Metroid"
Who you think you're fooling? Lol.
I literally have no idea as to what makes the UI not "functioning" or "easy to use".
No UI is perfect and constant improvements can always be made. Nintendo doesnt even put half as much effort into the UI as MS does and it shows in how basic features that were requested at launch still arent implemented.
But that's also the benefit of PC. All those games that you have to buy new hardware for are all playable on a gaming PC without an upgrade. Will it be great performance? Not always. But you can still play them at lower settings without having to buy all new hardware.
Want the best performance? You can do that too. That flexibility is what makes it such a great platform.

@rainslacker
That's actually not entirely true. Halo: Infinite was always originally announced for their Xbone and PC and Hellblade 2 was just announced for 'Xbox'.
So this is actually analogous to the situation that the Switch is in as all game this far were never announced exclusively for the XSX.
This entire comment section is full of people dribbling about whether a game can be considered exclusive rather than whether the games actually look good. Priorities are in the right place as always.

@sampsonon
Are you asking if Ninja Theory said it? The full quote is in the article. If you mean on a broader level it's quite self-explanatory with the example I gave. Insanity going undiagnosed (for obvious reasons) and people thinking they're possessed by demons or invoking witchcraft. How many of our religions have stories of executions and witch hunts because of people, who in retrospect with our current knowledge, were showing symptoms of mental illness but ha...
