Dreams isn't a fan creation. It sells itself on fan creations, which means that it is indirectly profiting off any content that infringes on 3rd parties IP.
This is actually one of the few events Nintendo is justified in protecting their IP.
@Razzer
First off, that's not backtracking. Otherwise you have consider any apology or admittance of fault to be backtracking. Also, if that's what you think backtracking is you'd be guilty of doing the same by admitting you were wrong in your first response to me. Secondly, it was not the only person he pointed to.
"Calling the twitter guy a disgruntled ex-employee shows bias? He is, by definition, a disgruntled ex-employee."
"But you give me any disgruntled ex-employee and give the employer free reign to offer rebuttal and you'll get a different picture entirely."
First off you're already showing a bias by referring to them as disgruntled. It would be like if I called Neil Druckmann a shill because hes literally on Sonys payroll and accused him of lying. The reality is this: An ex-developer claimed that someone was hospitalised due to crunch at a Sony studio. A high profile me...
@RazzerRedux
"There is always another side of the story that is hardly ever told primarily because people like you yapp "damage control" and pretend you know what you are talking about."
Soooooo we're just going to ignore the developer who prompted this tweet? We're going to ignore the fact that he made a claim of people being hospitalised due to being overworked and in ND's response there was no denial?

Except OpenCritic is the source that people only ever use when Metacritic doesnt provide them with the desired outcome.
Overall, neither matter. But it's quite revealing when you try and justify the value of one over the other.
@rainslacker
Because before Death Stranding Kojima had a far stronger bargaining position, and likely got a deal that was incredibly favourable to him at a cost to Sony. Did his game perform sales numbers that are deserving of such a deal? I think the silence on the games market performance says what we need to know. I think his saltiness over the reviews further confirms the situation he's in. At the absolute best it was profitable, but nowhere near as profitable as an...
@arkard
Um, no. Way before it was even a year old. Games don't get a million of views on community update videos if they're badly received.
I'm sorry, but you're deluding yourself if you think the first was not well received, and the second had bad reception at launch and now holds a respectable reputation.
Who's the fool who thought it'd be a good idea sit in front of a mirror for the photo?
Extremely similar mechanics are in games like Pokemon Go too. The strand system is good but it's nothing new.
If you've not bought the first jump on it to show support for a port of the sequel.
And yet you still thought Corona was somehow deadly in a way that the flu isn't. It's time for you to go into your bunker now.
"This virus similar to flu but way faster and deadly."
You don't know what you're talking about. More people in the US have died from the flu this year than Corona. So you're actually fear-mongering about something you don't understand.
Yeah, even the shut-ins are panicking.
In terms of storefront features I think it's a joke that neither of the big 3 have provided what Steam has.
It didn't say theres no bad guy choice... its saying less people picked it. Personally I think it's because Shepard with the red scars looks fucked up and dumb rather than becaus people didn't want to make renegade decisions.
@dortios
Come back with evidence and not paranoia for the United States. Again we're not talking about China or Italy. However if you want to then I need details on what precautions you're taking. Have you begun living in isolation yet?
Please eject yourself from society for my personal satisfaction.
@dietis
Then stay in your house and don't come out. Don't come to any shops or use physical currency. I...
It's really not based on current information.
The actual reason for this is most likely due to travel insurance not covering things like this. You can't get insurance coverage for Corona.
@annoyedgamer
I think it says a lot about what you're doing with your system if you feel like being banned is a likely possibility.
@monkey602
"I've had 3 friends banned for life on accounts with hundreds of euro worth of purchases because of usernames."
Something suggests that if you know 3 people who've been banned for this reason, they're not as innocent as you're trying to portray.

@staticall
Your analogy doesn't work. Nothing you mentioned is analogous to Dreams so your attempt to compare them falls flat there. My position still stands.
Also, every time something has been made that infringes on copyright through an engine like Unity or Unreal the creator is sent a cease and desist. Unity/Epic do not distribute the creations of those who use their engine, so they are not responsible. Like I said, your analogy doesnt work.
