You're forgetting the beta access for BE and the dlc included. This is a really good month even if there are things like Young Blood which I'm personally not interested in.
Cant really believe in a developer with no games can you?
I never considered running my Switch through the Xbox One to take advantage of the party chat and game audio coming from the same source. Might have to take advantage of that soon.
They're having to resort to Kickstarter at the moment to fund development for games that already exist to release on new plwtforms. They definitely don't have the funds to purchase an IP right now or they would've done so already.
I don't think you understand sarcasm. Okay pal. Lmao
You mean as the 'ArTiFiCiAl ShOrTaGe' ends...
@isarai
"Seriously this is some twilight zone level stuff going on here. Why is this being defended? When has the concept of hardware advancements fueling software advancements never been a thing?"
No. Its really basic and laughable you can't grasp such a straightforward concept. Theres a transition period and theres zero problems with supporting hardware thats on its way out by making games available on both systems. You've still not sh...
@isarai
"how is cutting game changing features not holding a game back? You sound confused."
I think you don't actually know what you're talking about. At this point you're likely the sort of person who would complain about a cross-gen game running at 30 fps on the Xbone and 60fps on the XSX.
"This is like politician psychology. Keep repeating it until people believe that it's true."
Thats some top tier projection. Notice how you can't actually explain how most of the better titles at launch for this generation were actually cross-gen games? BF4, despite its technical issues, was much better at showcasing how much more capable the new hardware than games exclusive to the new systems. It also didn't have to sacrifice a thing for the current ...
"Well my story telling is strong enough to trigger"
Wow is this 2014? Get those air-horns because people are (((TrIgGeReD)))
If your gonna clap back at least try and come up with an entertaining meme XD
@isara
@isarai
"3rd party is always cross gen, people have always looked towards the 1st party games to really display what the new hardware can do, the reason you should upgrade, the reason you should own this console over that one."
Okay, we can limit this to 1st party then. So why weren't you talking about the awful selection of 1st parties for the Xbone and PS4's first couple years? How amazing was KZ: SF, Knack, I...
Could you demonstrate how this has only just become a problem then? Gamers were absolutely silent about this with games like BF4 and ACIV, but now it's a huge issue? Having a quick scan of games that released on the PS4/Xbones first year and I'm seeing a lot of last-gen ports and PC ports for indies that were on the market for years in some cases.
Sorry, but I'm not buying into the fear mongering on this.
Lol, please. The fact you even attempted to draw that analogy is pathetic.
If you're not into strong storytelling that's fine, but dont act like some of the best stories of this generation haven't touched on very serious subject matter or that they do so only for attention. Go watch a Michael Bay movie if you just want to watch something shallow.
People who're interested in playing well made games? Good stories handle serious subjects well. Great examples off the top of my head would be how KOTOR handled the morality, God of War on parenting, and Hellblade on mental illness. Can i say these games would have been even half as memorable without their strong story elements? I'm not sure I can.
That's why we should push for games to handle serious subject matter more authentically. You personally don't ...
"No mention of the Series X, no Series X release window, no clips of current games, no advertisement of Xbox Game Pass for only $9.99 a month."
You're literally asking for it right here. Also, advertising this far out from release is a huge waste. Definitely not a good idea like you're suggesting.
I'm afraid its you whos out of touch. Remember how the Xbone reveal had such a huge American centric showcase? NFL and American TV? What did that do to sell the Xbone to the rest of the world? Absolutely nothing. If anything that reveal can easily explain why MS' position in the EU weakened so much this gen.
A full console showcase at the super bowl? How on earth does that generate hype anywhere outside of the US?
@ArmyVetGamer
"Xb1 has roughly 45 mil consoles in the wild. Lets say... 25-35% have xbgp... thats peanuts."
If 10 million subscribers for XGP on Xbox alone is peanuts then you've basically, by extension, said that PS Now is a colossal flop. After 5 or so years, PS Now only last year broke the 1 million subscribers milestone.
I think you're trying a bit too hard in your attempts to identify faults with XGP right now. It...
"The majority of gamers dont really care about XBGP."
The majority of gamers dont care about any single service, console, or game; so it's an irrelevant point isnt it?
"Probably like, over 75%."
Wait so 25% of all gamers care about it? That would mean it has well over 100 million subscribers across PC and console. You sure this logic of yours is working because you're making XGP appear very popular.
@SilverHawk
Alienware isn't posing a threat to anyone in the console market.
Hold on. Gears 3 had MT's, so why are you including that one among the games you enjoyed if monetization ruined them for you?
