It's not tagged as news, so no?
"Not every third party publisher needs justification to make games exclusive. Is that hard to understand?"
Actually, yes. It absolutely is when you have shareholders to please and are limiting your success when we know that the game would achieve even greater success if released on a system, like the Switch, which has huge appeal in Japan. If you're struggling to understand that then I can't help you. Also, no one 'NEEDS' to do anything. My turn fo...

***"And he's right. Given how none of the consoles offer anything a PC can't do"***
First off, I definitely can't play on my PC while on the train or bus and there's no way you can convince me a laptop is a comfortable gaming alternative while on the go.
Secondly, you're making a huge assumption about the gaming market if you think they'd all migrate to PC if consoles died next gen.

I dont think you know what 'niche' means.
Also, this is a great example of what actual port begging is. Demanding that an entire company drop their hardware and go 3rd party.
They're buying the Switch...
When no justification can be offered for limiting it to that platform, yes. Is there something you're struggling to understand about this? It's clear theres no exclusivity deal behind Persona 5, and Atlus certainly doesnt have any financial issues limiting them to developing for less platforms. I know you're try very hard to find some sort of fault in my logic but you're not going to find it.
Yes. Problem?
That's actually depressing if true. Basically saying the PS5 could make all the same mistakes MS did with the Xbones launch and people would eat it up...
Let's remember this game runs on a PS3. Theres no way it cant run on a Switch. While we're at it let's also ask how it's not even on Xbox. I bet the game wouldnt even need to hit 500k to break even on that system alone.
At this point I can only imagine that its incompetence on Atlus' part.
Praising EA? I've not seen that. I've seen people praise Respawn. Is there an issue with that?
As someone in their twenties, I can confirm you're completely off-base. There is no trend of wearing an emblazoned logo of a system. I've seen more people wearing Zelda shirts than any game company logo, so I guess TLoZ is pretty hip streetwear...

If I have a choice between 5 steaming turds on my desk or 2 turds and gem on my desk, I'm taking the latter.
Disney have fucked up far harder than EA with the franchise. While the Battlefront games are decent they're nowhere near as bad as the movies, and Fallen Order is excellent and leaps and bounds better than anything Disney has put out for the franchise.
Forget saving Star Wars from EA; it needs saving from Disney...
At this point I'd rather EA rescue it from Disney tbh...
Fallen Order alone is better than anything Disney have put out.
@AnubisG
10 years ago you were the person claiming physical distribution is under threat by digital. You call me naive but you're the one who's failed to learn from the last time people like yourself attempted to fear monher about the death of physical media.
Before accusing someone of being naive make sure your argument isn't outdated. Also, if you need to rely on conspiracy theories to back your position you know it's weak.
And I'm sure we can find millions of casuals that would spend more money in gaming due to the opposite. That's what he push for streaming is about.
It's not a takeover to remove physical/digital media; it's just another way of accessing games.
Yes, theres some serious money laundering scheme going on. I believe its called a "subscription service". Alert the media immediately! They must know of this disgusting secret we've uncovered!/s
You have access to all the same resources and information as anyone else on the internet, but you're still ignorant to basic facts in regards to how SC still has money coming through the door. Are you feigning stupidity or is this genuine stupidity on your part?
@DarXyde
"Do you mean to say that silence indisputably denotes bad news?"
Considering that the silence is accompanied by the game dropping off the charts unexpectedly fast, it's looking likely that it is. If this was MS it's to be expected, but Sony are not the sort to shy away from announcing sales data.
"It's fine if you do, as long you are willing to apply that metric to the green team who has been very mum...

If your country of origin plays a role in your opinion of games then you shouldn't be a critic.
"Having lost this generation again at last place"
You can't count. The Wii U is in last place.
