I'd start with a new engine, better physics, improved aiming (as in very accurate aiming instead of the forgiving one). I'd also recommend a decent SP with an actually interesting, mature and well written story.
This is a very interesting game.
I'd love to see a good sequel to LOK: Defiance.
Some countries use a comma as a decimal mark... This article comes from a Dutch site and the Netherlands is listed as one of those countries.
In fact, even my own country does that.
"They already have COD equivalents"
I suppose you mean by popularity. I honestly can't recall a single Japanese FPS I've played. In fact I think they have only recently made one.
I used to mostly play Japanese games back in the day that they didn't suck.
Since I've been earing about this whole "westernization" bullshit the whole thing just went downhill. I honestly don't know what the fuck happened.
An article with balls. Way to go Mr. Josh.
Fuck yeah!
One of the best surprises I've had during this gaming generation.
Both while we are at it.
Who cares if the game sucks and is repetitive as long as it's COD and it's fun!
"Ninja Theory knows a lot more about creating emotional and cogent stories than most people who play their games."
LOL.
"Gamers should have faith that, even though Ninja Theory might change the rules a bit, they can still make a solid Devil May Cry game that fits snuggly and sensibly into the timeline."
In order to do that one would have to ignore the big pile of bullshit they have already delivered. In fact, one would hav...
My oh my... A reviewer with balls? And with good writing mixed with solid arguments too?
Fuck me in the neck!
PS: Read the whole thing and reach your own conclusions. Ignore the numbers if you don't have the balls to take it.
Call of Duty and realism... It used to be slightly diffrent but that was a long time ago.
So,
The fact that the game required more min/maxing, crowd control class variety and knowledge, a group of 40 very able players and all of the coordination that it brings to the table is just not very noticeable.
Right, how could I ever counter your arguments.
By the way, C'thun called and said hello. Thank fuck for nerfing eh?
"People were less trained in the mechanics aswell as the little to no addons being availab...
"Seeing as World of Warcraft has always been a game for the casual gamer, I don't see what you complain about."
World of Warcraft did exist before WOTLK you know?
And that statement is pure bullshit. I'd accept something like "they always had various kinds of gamers in mind".
"If you want to play hardcore, go take on every Hardmode encounter, which to this date has only been taken by 5% of the entire playerbas...
Yes and no.
I can see a few ways to refresh the genre and that's mostly vision/plot wise.
Yet, with all of the QTE, the cheaps thrills and macho bullshit plots, I feel like the genre is really hitting rock bottom.
This whole "issue" just seems like a big joke.
There is so much bullshit arround WoW nowadays and this is what Blizzard sees as in issue?
"Big numbers may become too hard to read"
That's just ridiculous.
Take a good look at the casual fest and the brain dead gameplay. That is the real issue with what WoW nowadays. One big issue that is still becoming worst.
Porn is dirty!
Be a good little man. Study, pray, pay your taxes and join the army instead!
Got to love that mentality.
That was one of the dumbest things I have ever read.
The most important aspect of the game is the "whole".
The next gen really needs more RAM and a rather solid piece of harware. I've had enough with YLOD's and RROD's during this gen.
