Gameplay secondary? No, just no. I'd never be able to say that...
The death of exclusives sounds really sweet to me. If it were to happen, the comapnies behind the systems wwould have to sell other features to convince people to buy their product.
After that trailer no I don't. The ambience seems interesting but that's not the gameplay I want. I want the old Final Fantasy style turn based combat with a little je ne sais quoi for a more modern feel, alas, I don't want an action RPG.
It's a way of looking at things but it ain't necessarily the only way to do it, or even the most intense way actually.
That happened with Call of C'thulhu. Real shame I say.
I'm actually intrigued by this. With the right execution it can really be the kind of game I've been waiting for. Bethesda also published the Call of C'thulhu game which was a very interesting experience, only lacking on the technical side of things.
Seems interesting, now don't fuck up the gameplay.
Religious syncretism and spiritualism? Oh I'm all over that... I'm just shitting all over my cultural heritage and it feels great.
It's a shame Valve is bending to this sorth of requests.
PS: I wish people would respect my atheism. The idea of having a God judge my actions and/or control my destiny deeply offends me.
Well... Is sensuality a dangerous disease? Does bad taste deserve severe punishment? The answers are simple, no drama or shock is necessary.
For me, the golden age included FF VI, VII, VIII, IX and X.
@knowyourstuff
I care about exaggerations when they bring no aesthetic value at all. Most of the times badly executed exaggeration makes me loose any interest or respect for games/movies.
"Who cares about exaggerations? Isn't that what Every superhero ever created is?"
Herm... No? Not aesthetically wise... I don't cry about the Hulk, he is supposed to be like he is, a rage-fuelled behemoth. He isn't supposed to be repres...
It's not exactly that kind of article. Give it a read, it's worth it and it does have some decent arguments up there.
It's not there against looking sexy. It's there against exageration and stereotypes. It actually stands up for male stereotypes aswell.
Now that is my kind of article! Very wise and straight to earth.
I tend to hate the whole lot of the "pro-woman" scene. What I really like and want to see is a more "anti-stereotype", "pro-reality" and "pro-equality" kind of attitude.
I feel safe to say that, sadly, both genders get their fair lot of unfairness and prejudice. People just hold on to their stereotypes to judge the other side!
It's a r...
It might seem silly, but he kind of grew on me when I saw him on Doom. Not the best movie arround but the guy seemed to have potencial.
Jeff Bridges actually doesn't seem that bad as Old Snake.
Karl Urban for young snake peraps?
Not Sean Bean! I don't Solid Snake to die during the first half of the movie.
My list:
- Resident Evil 2
- Metal Gear Solid
- Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
- Soulblade
- Final Fantasy VII
Just as many many others don't want it. We can't also ignore the huge ammount of the old fanbase who loathes their new decisions.
"I'm a PlayStation fan and I think it's great that more gamers will be able to enjoy this..."
Yes, it's that simple. I wish more people would think about that.
