It's ok. I'm not exactly waiting for it. Well... At least not anymore!
The Final Fantasy games I used to love are long gone.
This article... Sorry to say but the writing is simply awful. The content itself is really far from being any sort of a masterpiece.
No... Just no...
PS: A modern day Resident Evil?
- Modern control scheme: Shooting while moving, more freedom of mobility and etc...
- A "camera" that allows for more freedom of movement. But also something that does not allow the player to see what's around the corner without put...
Probably. I play with my fingers, not with my penis. Girls have fingers too so that will probably work.
By "voting with my wallet" I mean that I am not buying anything at all. So no, they won't get my "sale".
And honestly, I'm not sure if my writing is the issue here. I'm inclined to say that your reading comprehension was a bit weak there.
Say, out of curiosity, how would you write my comment? It's just that many people have actually told me that I am quite articulate with my writing.
It does make sense, I suppose you missed my point. In other words, I'll buy less of their products while further vocalising my discontentment for their quality.
Voting with my wallet, feedbacking with my voice.
That opinion is ok to some extent but you also should keep in mind that some people can develop a rather solid opinion based upon the evidence surrounding the product. Changing your opinion after playing the game, for better worse, can also happen of course. But even so, people usually can realise if they will enjoy or dislike something before playing it, saves them some time and money.
It's okay. I'll keep paying them less and less while writing more and more...
I'm not there with you on Trigun but Cowboy Bebop does sound good indeed!
I've read that a long time ago so I don't exactly remember it that well, but Basilisk does seem like it could produce a very interesting and dark game.
Well, not me they didn't. I'm still annoyed at the whole thing. Furthermore, as it appears to be, many people do seem to share this opinion.
And yes, I am aware I can only speak for myself. It's just my perception of things, that's all.
PS: I think we should save conclusions for when the game is actually released. The public reception will eliminate all of the doubts.
Wow... I actually never eard about any of those manga comics(except for Air Gear).
I'd recommend Hellsing and Vagabond for videogame adaptations. I can see Hellsing working as an intense and gory action game. As for Vagabond, it could come up as a very interesting open world experience with this element of tactical combat mixed with an intense story and a more straight to earth design.
Basically the 5 reasons are 5 personal taste based statements.
Both Microsoft and Sony's controllers are quite decent, the rest comes down to personal preference.
As for myself... Well, I prefer the Playstation controller mostly because I've been using that layout since I was 5 year's old. Old habits die hard.
PS: "Just the Right Amount of Complexity"
Hmm? I'm quite positive that the Playstation and ...
Pyramid Head? A villain? More like a one of a kind executioner...
"West/Europe cannot compete with Japan when it comes to action games!"
God of War/Darksiders?
I honestly can't understand the point they are trying to make... Let's take a look at those statements:
“One of the things about making a western game, we wanted to make the tone a little less campy, and a little more darker."
Sorry but that doesn't make any sense at all. The Western world is not one giant pile of darkness and negativity... In so called "western entertainment" It's not exactly hard to find examples of loudmouth ...
"...the Dante that came before the one we fans of the game know and love."
We already had DMC3 for that.
The article itself is based upon a classic fallacious speech... The candy analogy is way too dissimilar.
Unlike candy and other food products, videogames are not supposed to be "tasted". A videogame is related to other cognitive functions. Furthermore, one could argue that the visual aspect of a food item does actually have an important impact upon the reception of said product by the consumer.
In the case of videogames, design is heavily connected...
OH MY GOD! A new Call of Duty game? No fucking way...
Nop.
“When it reaches the level where it gives you that nostalgic, “this is Final Fantasy!” feeling, I want to show it to everyone.”
Changing the gameplay eh?
Yes please, otherwise I'll never feel that. I don't want to play a bloody "Kingdom Hearts Versus XIII"...
