The first game was garbage, the second one failed to win me back and I couldn't care less for this one either. I'm not a big fan of console FPS's but for that matter I rather have Killzone.

We could also say that overpriced games are hurting the industry by making the consumers unable to buy any new titles.

I hardly remember that movie. All I can recall is the whole flashy and exagerated combat sequences, not so busty Tifa, emo Cloud (dear god...) and some Sephirot/Cloud fan service.
And the best thing is Square-Enix intends to make the FF games more like the combat from FF AC. The combat system of a game more like the combat system of a movie... Resident Evil died at RES4. It could be considered an ok game but it still had loads of flaws and it had nothing to do with the traditional resident evil series.

Honestly it's not that complicated. Final Fantasy isn't a sequencial story. It's all about diffrent new stories and worlds with the good old FF style combat system and etc...

Why does too much realism in a SP make the game boring and why doesn't it work the same way for MP? That doesn't make any sense... I do want quality products on either gameplay modes, I don't want to see my experiences ridiculously plot holed or exagerated to the point of pure stupidity.

Consoles are considered to be more user friendly devices than a PC. Consoles don't need upgrades or much technical knowledge either, PC's are the complete opposite.
It's not like PC's are very complicated or that even good PC builds are hard to come by, it all comes to the fact that it seems confusing and complex to the common mortal man.
