...considering NOTHING has been shown from the game, thus far. It's possible it could see a Japan-only release late this year, and next spring/summer for US/Europe. Major franchises usually get a ton of hype/promotion, with screens, interviews, trailers, etc. leading up to the release; there's hardly time to squeeze all of that in this late, and still have a shot at making a meaningful launch this year.

2.) The fact that there's little difference between XBOX NG, and PS3 NG, is a testament to the XBOX...certainly NOT a negative for the 360. ???? If anything, it shows just how much the PS3 struggles to "impress".

...and the "big picture". They don't have to "catch up" to Apple. MP3 players are a disposable commodity, much like cell phones. MS knows consumers in this market, will own 3-5 different mp3 players (minimum) in their lifetime, and are planning on sneaking into the market via newcomers, and those shopping for their "next". GT WISHES it were equal to Forza 2. All PD has done with the GT series since the PS1 original, is improve the graphics, and fine-tune the handling. The difference from Forza 1 and 2, by comparison, is truly remarkable.
