I'll be picking this up, day 1, at my local Sam Goody...and without a preorder. The only way I'd bother preordering GTAV, is if MS confirms the rumor that a preorder gets you extra content free.

If you continue to support publishers who bastardize great franchises, just to make quick $$, then YOU are just as much at fault as they are. I'll be buying too many games for my 360, to bother with the PS3 yet. I'll pick up a PS3 when it's around $300, and there are at least 10 exclusives I'm interested in playing. The 360 simply has a better library of games, with the majority of multiplatform games being superior to the PS3 version.
As of right now, Uncharted and WarDevil (which I've been following for about 4 years) are the only ones I'm remotely interested in.
35-50 hours of gameplay??? Hell, I got that much from ONE DVD9 with Bioshock and Mass Effect. With Oblivion...only 7.9 Gigs on a DVD9...I logged well over 200 hours.
This is precisely why MS will be fine with DVD9 for the next 3-5 years. The only devs that truly REQUIRE more space, are the wannabe film directors/game devs from Japan, like Squenix, Konami, and now Mist Walker. Any way you cut it, PS3 gamers are going to have to wait to play their games. Either it's a multiplatform game, that shows up 3-6 months after the 360 version, or a 20 minute wait after you buy it, because Blu-Ray is for MOVIES, not GAMES. Game installation is for the rapidly-dying PC market...NOT consoles. :o

Yes, you do need to do it before starting the game, because the normal 360 guide button features aren't available while an XBOX game is playing.

That award is from the original XBOX project, and has nothing at all to do with the 360. The dates on the individual award logos are from '01-'03, at the latest. So yeah, this proves nothing.
