BATMAN VS. MARVEL VS. CAPCOM
I want that now. I'm prepared to go full Veruca Salt until I get it.
I believe WB owns DC as a whole.
The reason there haven't been any good Superman games is because, in my opinion, Superman is boring.
It's not the beating up thugs and the flying around that make a good Superman story, but that's all you're going to do in a video game.
I'd love to see somebody make a good Supes game (and if anybody can, I'd have faith in Rocksteady), I just don't think it can be done.
Aw, nice article. Too bad about the tragic ending...
The thing that's cool about Burgertime is that it's totally one of those oddball game ideas that would only work in the era it was released (and in reimaginings like this).
I used to love getting new issues of EGM and Nintendo Power...Now, I still subscribe to EGM (or rather, I subscribe to them again) but I don't really have the time to read it like I used to.
Pour one out for Sushi-X and Quarterman.
Funny stuff!
BUT, isn't Barry Allen alive again? It's hard to keep track of this stuff.
People *say* they want more thoughtful analysis, but I think what they actually want is either "YES BUY THIS/NO DON'T BUY THIS" or "YES, YOU ARE SMART FOR BUYING THIS/YES, YOU ARE SMART FOR NOT BUYING THIS."
"Reviews are buyers guides"
But they don't have to be...and I don't think they all *should* be. Not all book reviews are about if you should buy the book. It's awful boring just to read stuff that's nothing but buyer's guide, and if game journalism does head down that path completely, then I think it will lose a lot of the legitimacy that (some) people are striving for.
This is sorta off topic, but something about NV felt weird to me...Like, it was trying too hard to do the same stuff that Fallout 3 did, while also changing things that didn't need changing. I dunno. It did do a lot of things better than 3, but it just didn't grab me in the same way that 3 did.
Even though they're both military FPS games, it's really like comparing football to soccer. They both do their thing, even if they're similar things, and some people prefer one to the other.
It's not the best simile, but it's what I'm going with.
I think maintaining the advances made in the series isn't really what 343 was going for with this game...aside from the graphics.
They were probably more concerned with keeping vanilla Halo 1 in tact, especially with the way they're running the original and the HD version at the same time.
I never played Burgertime back in the day...I remember hearing somebody hype it up in EGM a while back though. Maybe I'll check out this new one.
Huh...This sounds pretty cool.
AND CRAZY. Ha.
Two years until a *new* COD? That works for me...Annual calls of duty get tiresome.
So awesome. I love seeing cheating jackasses get what they deserve.
See, this is the thing about Kirby games: They're secretly totally awesome. Always have been.
The...Simuview (?) thing sounds incredibly rad. If you look at the screen without glasses on, does it just look like some garbled vomit-inducing mess?
Also: Does it support the N64? Seems like that's the most use anybody would get out of a feature like that, as cool as it sounds.
I know! I'm thinking "Ha, I'll totally nail this one!" then...that's far from what I did.
And Nathan Drake isn't old and schlubby, so....
:-P
