I've never been the biggest Mario Party fan, but at least those levels are *always* interesting in some way. This looks pretty darn boring (and if that's just a side-effect of the way the game works, then like the author says, it's a waste of the crossover).
I once held a Mario Kart 64 tournament with a friend of mine, and things got so heated that I smashed a Wii Classic Controller. It was awesome...and nothing crazy like that ever happens when I play online.
"Nintendo no longer designs hardware; it designs puzzles.
And most developers fail them."
That...is a pretty damn interesting thought. I've never looked at it that way, and yeah, I too hope that WiiU devs can figure out some more interesting things to do with it than "HERE'S A PORT OF LAST YEAR'S ASSASSIN'S CREED!" or "HANNAH MONTANA GAME!".
Yeah, I've noticed quite a few dungeons with the exact same layout and stuff, but the first few I went in looked so great I'm willing to forgive a little bit of copy-and-pasting. It's just one of those things that is done *so much* better than it was in Oblivion that it feels revolutionary.
It's been a loooong time since we got a new Miyamoto game that was actually worth paying attention to. I just hope him having a hand in smaller games would mean more things like Pikmin, and not more things like Wii Music.
Transformers WFC had a really great multiplayer component. Yeah, it was still the same deathmatch and stuff, but you could transform into vehicles and zip around! It was a little different at least...
I totally missed the KoF boat somehow. I guess I was more of a Street Figher kid, but I remember randomly playing one of these games and being confused as to why I had never heard of it.
So I've always had a weird feeling about KoF...
I'm so sick of morality systems in general. The first time I broke into somebody's apartment and stole their candy bars in Human Revolution, I was extremely happy to not see something pop up and tell me that I had acquired X amount of bad guy points or something.
It was a cool idea, but it's been completely run into the ground.
Mordin is awesome. I'm always up for more Mordin.
More-din. Ha.
I'm really excited to get into this one...I played the hell out of the first game, but that was back in a time of my life I call "Pre-Skyrim."
And the first game kinda had a bizarro tease at the end that they did nothing with too, right? I won't spoil it here, cause it was nutso.
I love the fanservice stuff in these games...but I'm not really good enough at fighting games to actually have fun playing them.
I think this story mode/action mode stuff is a great idea, but I don't like that the author knocked the Mako stuff from the first game.
Exploring planets was an excellent break from the other stuff, it felt very hard-sci-fi in a cool way, and it was a billion times better than the horrible tank platforming in ME2.
I WANT MORE BORING TANK STUFF.
Counting the time all of the people got turned into bricks and were then smashed by Mario, the Mushroom Kingdom has gotta be one of those terrible places to live in all of video gaming.
I love the idea of a Zelda game with great combat...and less excited about that combat relying on motion controls...
I've never actually met a bald soldier-type guy with a scar on the right side of his face and a permanent scowl...
But in a million years, the alien archealogists that visit our planet are gonna find all of our video games (the only surviving record of the human race) and they'll be be like "Whoa, the people that lived here were badass."
Like the author, I also kept my 20gb Xbox hard drive for years before I just upgraded to the new 360 (for only slightly more than a big hard drive would cost).
The price they charge for this stuff is bananas.
Some awesome photoshops.
I'm very interested to find out what the deal with Ueda is...I can't imagine this is good things for the future of Team Ico.
The Kinect can hear my girlfriend fine, but it doesn't listen to anything I say.
I think it doesn't like me...
Also, I can see it watching me even when the Xbox isn't on, and last night somebody cut the brakes on my car.
Man, I just bought a Kinect and i was hoping this Update would make the voice commands and stuff work better.
One of the sliders when making a character determines how dirty they are.
So no, you cannot.
