"She then goes on babbling about getting Thor’s belt to get Thor’s hammer to kill a god."
She's not getting it off me.
And you can't kill a god with it (believe me, I've tried).
You have to look at it from a game-by-game perspective.
Charging for extra characters, weapons etc. is NOT appropriate - creating a new skin for a character, and possibly recording some new sound effects for them could be done by one person in one day. So that's not worth £1 or whatever they rip you off for.
Charging for a bunch of new content as an expansion, with new maps, gameplay, possibly with new characters and weapons as well, is usually justified - but i...
Omega - you are obviously misinformed about Heavy Rain. You control the character - there is an odd control scheme where you press R2 to move forward like a racing game - but you are free to explore as you like. You can then interact with the environment. There are a little too many QTEs though, and the action sequences seem to be made up of them (from what we have seen), however, these are not just "press X you win, don't press it you fail" type QTEs - there are different actions y...
I agree with your "more than 10/10 if it were possible" comment - but I think that's more of a reflection that the "out of 10" scoring system cannot possibly fairly represent the quality of LBP (or some other games that are totally original, groundbreaking and fun - portal might be another example of this, though not on the scale of LBP).
"But LittleBigPlanet is all about changing your perspective. Just weeks after a limited preview release, this game has exploded, surely, beyond both its projections and its initial code. Even, actually, beyond the conventions of the average review. It’s a multiplayer riot, a visual landmark, a feat of engineering, and one of the most charming games ever made. But even those accolades are dwarfed by its scope, its potential, and the apparent endlessness of them both. What’s more, it sees ...
Wipeout HD zone mode I swear you would ACTUALLY die X_X
Why was my rant deleted by a mod? I seriously would like to know.
Lol you are seriously retarded if you think Fable 2 is a flop.
Yes it's obvious that the PC version will be the superior version out of the 3. That's the version I'll be getting.
So I see ;)
Lol you just made that account to reply here?
Oh yeah speaking of Hollywood remakes this reminds me EXACTLY of a film they remade - The Italian Job.
The original film was a British comedy - it was an hillarious "that'll never work" type film. There was something about the humour that really appealed to me. It had its little quirks everywhere and it's different from most films out there.
Then they remade it. Most of the film didn't even take place in Italy, there was a really serious tone to the film, t...
The recall was a PR move. There would have been a lot of BAD PR had they allowed the game to ship with the track as it was. There are at least SOME people who aren't yet on PSN who would buy the game.
Yeah but none of the reviews have been considered with co-op in mind, however their score has been based on the fact that co-op is coming. If the co-op was seriously broken, that could affect the review score. But we now don't know anything about the co-op from the reviews.
I'm not saying the Fable 2 reviews are incorrect, rather that the reviews of games without a Single Player/Multiplayer component are unjustified in using that as a criticism. It's like rating a movie down beca...
FAIL FAIL FAIL
One of the best things about Deus-Ex was the localised damage. The other thing was the multiple storylines.
Deus-Ex 2 ruined the game by introducing "Universal Ammo" - lame - stripping the game of its localised damage and allowing you to change story path right at the end of the game, no matter what you'd done up to that point.
The next game is going to turn into a generic shooter it seems.
It's odd that many PS3 games get slammed for having no multiplayer or no single player and Fable 2 is given a free pass on its online co-op.
What's worse is that this is a duplicate...

"Up to 24 players online" - I thought it was 12?? Certainly not 24 that would be mayhem lol.
Can anyone tell me if there are faster versions of e.g. bikes in MS2? In MS1 all you could unlock were extra vehicle skins, I'd like to see different bikes with different speed/acceleration/handling, this review made that seem the case but it lost credibility with me with the 24 players online thing. Does anyone know?
Yeah the reason it got approved was probably 360 fanboys overjoyed to see such a low score - but actually it's a really good score. I know exactly what to expect from this game so I'll probably buy it. I loved the 1st motorstorm but the lack of split-screen ruined it.
Lol if it was £200 in the UK that'd be a real bargain - if I count up the amount I'll be spending (or have spent on me) on games in the run-up to christmas it'll exceed £200 easily.
